I would love for the SAM ore to be a part of portals. so let's say you have a node that's well out of the way, you could set up miners, build an intake portal that has belt/fluid attachments and then you can build an outlet portal near your base and it feeds the ore to there....imagine all the amazing factories we could see with all nodes just flowing into one area. Now the portals would have to be silly expensive, as in so difficult to make that it's not practical to use them everywhere

the other question is, if load an unmodded endgame save from before 1.0 will the produce x amount of X item count or only on completely new saves ?

So much ado for something that has almost zero meaningful effect on the game other than "it'd be cool to the 1% who care." Literally the only think you need to do right now is to connect the miner output to a belt and the belt to the world grid. Sure you won't be able to align every miners perfectly, but since when has that ever been an issue, when so many nodes are in cramped locations where you wouldn't build a base upclose anyways?

I used to run into the pipe problems, but after I learnt a bit more about valves, flow and pumping I've managed to go without any limitations since. I reckon you should get a warning that rapid changes in pressure can limit flow rates slightly, especially ones to do with the ends of manifolds, but apart from that it's fine.

I'm not even slightly interested in the end game. The last game I did, I had a huge distribution centre that had trains deliver, have everything reverse to an opposite station and have distribution trains deliver.

I use Whisky to play Satisfactory on my M2 Pro (M2 Pro chip) MacBook 14 inch. Runs... badly, at 1080p slightly upscaled, but that is sort of my fault - I wanted to push high quality textures, view dist, etc and try out Global Illumination. I tried 1440p but my MacBook just cannot seem to handle that super well. Btw, I use a windows gaming laptop for my games when I can, and play on MacBook if I don't have any option. 1080p is not that great, but it runs at decent fps and does look cool. (Gaming laptop has no problem with Ultra settings on 1440p). Also I would really like to try out Satisfactory on PS5 if that ever happens cause my PS5 sort of blows my laptops out of the water and quite a bit up the street. EDIT: I use Whisky for compatibility with M2 silicon

I miss the rain. It was a nice touch to keep things interesting over the many hours (OK, hundreds of hours) that I have put into it. I hope it gets back to the top of the list after 1.0.

drones are so late game it wouldn't even be unbalanced. Plus we already have hypertube cannons.

There's no point in disabling them anyway since free programs exist that are able to just give you any achievement from any game you own. It's just too easy to get around so there's no point in disabling the achievements.

They said they reduced the current last phase item numbers as they were set very high as a place holder. I would suspect the new phase will be approximately balanced out by that change.

I think it will 'feel' like we have to restart and totally rebuild our factories, but because we enjoy playing the game and this is a good excuse to do so. Doesn't sound like things are changing that much to where you'd have to. Also the more time we put into our factories the more we understand how small changes reverberate through the system. Also remember a 4 legged chair with one broken leg is still only less than 25% broken, even though it is 100% nonfunctional. Fixing 1 leg is not the same as fixing all 4 and the seat, etc. So a small change can completely break something, although its still a small fix, if you enjoy building chairs you'd still build a new one

VR support would settle that.

There is offline though. Which is what I normally do. I will NEVER play this in multiplayer. You can make it pause. As mentioned, the console can do it, *you can too*

This still isnt fixed. It shut be a very easy to fix issue. Can we please fix it? Me and my mates are having our items dissapear and it is more then frustrating at this point.
