Hi. I make my time lapses for license. I'm not complaining about people wanting to use my work in their projects and pay a license fee. Both parties benefit. Maybe you should consider that to make time lapses, it takes a lot of expensive camera kit, lenses, tripods, studio flash, temperature control, growlight control, time lapse kits to sync the cameras and flash and turn table, plus a studio and electricity costs. I think it reasonable that as I've invested in all this that I charge a fee. I use free music from KZbin, just to liven up the time lapses. I don't license the music and I give the artist full credit and link. Oh, I forgot. the considerable amount of time it takes to make the time lapses. Some are 9 months duration. Best wishes Neil

@@NeilBromhall1 and what do you think it takes to make music? You think you are offering something that must be paid? Same with music. I understand your work and dedication, but I have to defend my field which is (by far) more underrated than the visuals

I do understand the time and skill to produce music and I have helped people with their music videos. Some musicians/composers add their music to KZbin to be used. They benefit from monitorisation and a raised profile. I used to use a lot of music from Debbie Wiseman and Paul Mottram. Debbie is now a famous musician and no longer has music on KZbin. @@NeilBromhall1 You know as well as me that the "benefit from monitorisation and raised profile" is a justification for not paying something that should be paid. The fact that an artist reach more people makes its art more valuable?... Does that makes you eligible to be paid?...

Those musicians put their tunes on KZbin to be used for free and in return hope to raise their profile. Are you suggesting that KZbin should remove their music library for people to use? I'm intrigued, what do you produce for people to use for free? And how do you pay your bills?

I want to know mother nature's secret. It takes only 24 hours for a dandelion seed to grow into a fully grown flower. Imagine taking that programming & installing it into the foods we grow, The possibilities!

Wow! Who knew mushrooms were so beautiful. The spider at the end was unexpected, and the lawnmower noise was perfect. Watching her build that web so symmetrically was special.

It normally take a few hours from when the cocoon splits and the butterfly wings have expanded and hardened enough for the butterfly to fly. But this depends on the conditions. Best wishes Neil

I have 4 caterpillars left from about 10 that disappear. I took care of them really well. Taking the milkweed pot away from lizards and predators. Checking on them every hour to see if they are still on the plant or didn't fall. Three were already a cocoon, one still a caterpillar. One left this morning, and I didn't see it. I feel like a part of me left. I got very attached to the butterflies.
