as a kidm in Montreal, drag racing track I recall after her crash and she came back to Sanair track and in the quarter final she blew her engine, the fans around her pit, when the call from the team to yank that engine out of the dragster to switch it out, you never saw so many hands up. wanting to do the job, toi get her back on the track, I was just a kid on a upside down garbage bin, maybe an hour passed I dont know really, it was the most rivertting thing to watch the crew work so hard for Shirley's next race, and when that engine roared to life... you never heard souch a crowd cheer over the noise of a single engine... She won the next race as I recall, i cannot remember the year it was, I was no more than a teenager at the time. love for the sport, love for the pink !

Okay can anyone explain the propulsion he experienced upside down? What caused the released compression that made the sudden acceleration mid flip? (The burst of acceleration actually made the flip back to the tires possible along with aerodynamics of the car ofc)

I remember Shirley Muldowney racing when I was a kid in the early '80s. I always thought it was cool that she had that big pink car that blew everybody away!!
