Its really hard living in this world as an environmentalist. Roads suck and we kill so many species unessecarily. If you're here watching this video than you're probably someone who would stop help a wild animal. And i wanna say thank you for making the world a better place and caring.

Don’t you have laws that requires you to report hitting a wild animal with you vehicle? We do in Sweden because it’s inhumane to let a animal suffer.

I wish there was more information on this video. but it was heartbreaking to see this gorgeous cat barely walking around the road. I knew it had to be really injured. I wish there was an update. I'm assuming this mountain lion was hit by a car? Ugh. Poor thing! 💔

They need to put up high fences or barriers on each side of the highway. Countless mountain lions, along with many other animals, are getting hit all the time here! And most of the time the drivers don't stop or call animal control for help! A lot of them just die in pain on the side of the road. I'm so glad this one was saved, he was starving for a week since his mom got hit and killed a week earlier. He would've starved to death so in a weird way getting hit was a blessing in disguise. He didn't know how to survive and hunt yet! Hopefully he can be released back later. They now have programs that teach them hunting skills, whereas before they had to stay in captivity for the rest of their lives.
