Fullerton police deploy less than lethal

Fullerton: On 09-20-24 Fullerton police responded to a disturbance with a possible stabbing with a pen at the Chevron gas station located near Brookhurst Rd and Orangethorpe Ave. when units arrived on scene, the victim was not at the scene anymore. A female matching the description of the suspect was located in the parking lot of the gas station standing outside of her vehicle. Officers attempted to contact the female who was uncooperative and got in the vehicle locking the doors. Officers observed a knife in the vehicle and awaited additional resources. Several attempts to negotiate with the suspect were made. Officers blocked in the suspect vehicle to prevent the female from driving away. The female began ramming the police cars in an attempt to flee. Less than lethal options were used. Officers deployed pepper balls into the suspect vehicle in an attempt to have the female exit the vehicle and surrender. The female did not exit at that time. After several minutes, the suspect opened the door and exited, shielding herself from the officers with an unknown object. The female disobeyed orders and began to try and get back inside the vehicle where the knife was located. At this time, a police dog was deployed to prevent the suspect from gaining access to the knife. The female suspect was bitten on her upper bicep area. Officers provided medical treatment including tourniquets. None of us know how that happened ..but she caused it by resisting, assaulting an officer (by ramming into their car) assault with a deadly weapon too. If she would have peacefully cooperated NONE of that would have happened. Personal responsibility needs to make a come back. What if she would have stabbed you with a pen? Would you excuse her actions then? smh

Never in a million years would I have expected to see MY AUNT in this position. Heartbreaking, I don’t even know what to say. History of drinking, substance abuse, nasty divorce, losing everything, breaks my heart seeing her here. Her name is Cheryl Fischer, and she for certain has an illness and has for years.

It was a superficial wound that's all. The dog had to grab her with something, it's his job to apprehend bad guys, this one is just happens to be a woman. She's been going ape for 3 years. One giant "episode" that doesn't end. Boom that's all, I'm sorry but I'm ticked about her and all the people she hurts, I'm done. Thanks

Minor? Using her vehicle as a weapon while trying to flee after stabbing someone with a pen is a "minor" incident? Try something more like she deserves everything she has coming to her. Wild, just wild that you have that perspective in life about law enforcement. With that mentally, we'll probably be watching you here on KZbin crying out, "Cops turned something minor into a war," as you're being arrested. Good luck in life buddy. Wise up, and make it quick.
