It can with an additional fan which I currently use on my open air case. But not with the official case

The youyeetoo is excellent. I purchased one after watching your review. Does yours still run quietly when booting/playing games? My youyeetoo fan is constantly running loudly when playing PS2, XBOX, or switch. Curious if you have the same experience. Thank you!

Yeah, mines are still silent. However, you keep in mind. It also depends upon what operating system you’re using if you’re using Windows is going to more heat and also reach those additional burst limits if you’re using a Lennox base operating system is going to run a lot cooler so again remember when you’re using one of these single Board computers is the performance is also based upon the operating system and not just the hardware.

could be voltage, try lowering the resolution.

I have gone all in on the OPI5+ for TV and running a cluster for a home lab. The x86 boards are fantastic for home labs, but for my use case I wanted to use as little power as possible. That is where the arm boards shine, however like KIO stated the software isnt great aside from the RPI. OPI is getting better though, and I have not run into anything impossible with the 5 that I have, but there is a lot of troubleshooting involved.

@@kiodiekin I was trying to find video about this. OPi Z 2W seems very good for use for "make your own smartphone" project. But havent found any video or tutorial how to connect small touchscreen. And in OrangePi webpages are shown compatible LCDs, but only for other models. There is also problem with software, i think that drivers for touch layer are only for Android but not for linux. OrangePi has generally bad compatibility and (software) support, compared to Raspberry. So it is no-go for amateur tinkers. Only for advanced and experienced tinkers, who are able to solve driver problems and able to write their own software code.

In fact there is also a Raspberry Pi 2350 CPU on that Radxa X4. The same ARM/RISC-V CPU as on the new Raspberry Pi Pico 2. But it is not used as the "main" CPU on the Raday X4. It is used to control the GOPI port.

I think the biggest thing that people always forget is mhz dont mean shiz realitive to ipc cpi and memory access times and gpu perfomance and os overheads etc. Score.are.one thing and real life perfomance is another

According to Radxa X4 docs page the board should end up mounted upside down. They stuck 4 rubber feet on the metal strips, on the open side of the case. The heatsink and fan side should be on the top. I find all of this crazy because the wifi antennas will end up dangling around.

Because that’s basic stuff and any pc can do that. Office users represent a very low usage of the board or any current gen pc. If u want a pc for office use u could use anything dating back to the 80/90s

I picked up one of these on "open box buy" for about $80 two years ago. It's fantastic for MAME. The joystick is an 8-way Happ style which, real tight and surprisingly great for most 4-way games except Pac-Man stuff (and maybe Donkey Kong style games) which really needs the 4-way. Decent quality spinner and trackball. These additions, along with dedicated pinball button, are essential for any MAME player. The whole unit feels high quality. Shame these were not available for very long, as I have not seen other boxes with this much capability and versatility.
