Very nice video. Exactly the point why I don't overclock anymore. I made the same experience several years ago on x86 and that is why i stopped overclocking.

This is my slower Pi5 4GB which I'm on right now. It's the newer one to me. On for days. Ubuntu. I think I can get 2900 with Pi OS. Not sure about Retropie. Mostly desktop and wifi hotspot. Samsung BAR 256GB USB flash (400mb/s.) Out the door, pi5/4gb, official ps and cooler, and BAR flash was under $100 new at Micro Center over_voltage_delta=70000 arm_freq=2800 gpu_freq=950 #force_turbo=1 My faster Pi5 4gb. I don't leave this one on at those OC's. If I want to leave it on, I'll take off the force turbo and gpu down to 950. Also same Ubuntu with Aethersx2. PS2 mostly. Samsung BAR 256GB USB flash (400mb/s) Although, idling at the high specs right now, not even warm. Similar OCs for Pi OS over_voltage_delta=80000 arm_freq=3000 gpu_freq=1100 usb_max_current_enable=1 force_turbo=1 Same Pi5 running Retropie. Gamecube primarily. Don't know if the 3200 matters but if it runs fine I leave it. Cheap SSD 120GB over_voltage_delta=80000 arm_freq=3200 gpu_freq=1100 force_turbo=1

Your just exhausting your pi. Overlocking for emulation doesn’t show any benefits. As demonstrated here as well
