this was lame, also I talked to a turbo tax accountant online and they were not very helpful. In this video, she doesn't explain that it is helpful when one spouse has a lot of medical deductions, also did not talk about using separately when one spouse has a lot of student loan payment debt. I am not impressed with Turbo Tax, big disappointment with their quality of service

Turbotax could not file my taxes electronically after I already submitted payment. The customer service reps don't even have the option to refund a customer's money. I actually had to call the BBB in order to get my money back for services NOT rendered. This company is a scam. After the BBB got in touch with them, a customer service supervisor called me and said, "I will allow your refund this one time." Gee thanks, scammer. As if there will ever be another time. Stay away form Turbotax.

My return was rejected. I attempted to re-file but turbo tax informed me that my five free e-mails had been used. I did not know that a rejected return was considered an e-filing. I had to mail the return due to the turbo tax policy. A rejected e-file should not count as one of the five free filings. I will explore other tax programs to see if the same policy exist. I may be changing me tax service.

We filed jointly in 2022. I have confirmed our AGI on our 2022 return, AND with our 2022 IRS transcript on the IRS site, and the 2023 return has been rejected four times! AGI is definitely correct, but IRS rejects it. Now what Intuit? Update: I was able to get the IRS to accept the 2023 return by giving $0 as my 2022 AGI. This is despite TurboTax and IRS both having my correct AGI in their records. Go figure!
