Ultrasonic cleaner will make that head like new again. Acetone & Mean Green degreaser mix does a remarkable job on brass in a SC. Vids here on tube show how well it does, try ultrasonic cleaners & antique clock mechanisms or type brass cleaning with ultrasonic cleaners etc? Lot on here.. So far my AR pump is still goin strong on my 10+yr old BE pressure washer. I do use pump winterizer/fluid on every shut down just to keep things clean/lubed in it. Im looking to see if I can change pump oil even though its a maintenance free pump new oil from time to time prolongs life. Just like it will in sealed hydro trannys on riding mowers. I have a fluid extractor I stick its tube inside the plastic trans filler cap or just remove the vent tube if no cap to draw oil out their trans. I've saved many Hydros like that, if one slips after new 30wt I put straight 50wt in, I'll go 90wt if need be, cause you aint hurting it by then so wth? So far my wifes 2006 Husqvarnas still moving with 90wt in its trans since 2014/15? It pulls my huge hills no problem,it wouldnt even move on flat ground when we got it back in 2010. Another freeby the owner thought was toast...lol Anyway, chit needs new oil, Sealed units, Maintenance free, Never add oil, is all BS to make more money for big corps, nothing else! Well I never been too stupid & lazy to maintain my chit like Briggs prez claims todays gens are now so they made their engines without oil drain plugs! Yep! Simple search shows them all how too vids now days, we all had to do this exploratory surgery on everything in my day. Thanks for getting dirty for me..lol Peace

I replaced the front spindle bushings with a bearing upgrade kit on my 2001 Craftsman GT 3000. I bought it brand new. It has the Kohler Command twin 23. Other than regular maintenance, I had to put a new PTO clutch , change the fuel pump, and rebuild the carb. I used it 21 years before getting a new zero turn in 2022 but everything still works.

I have this same model pump on a rigid pressure washer Picked it up in the garbage It starts right up pump seems to work as there’s pressure when I pull trigger but water starts to spray out of the thermal relief valve I think is what this guy called it in a comment I read Is that something I can just buy and replace

I did all the requirements to get my surface cleaner to spin,but it looks like it's all washed out. It looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new one, I only had it less than two years 🤔

Nice work. I wish you were here in SC. I cuuld use the help fixing up a pressure washer I recently bought. Honda GX390, and CAT 66DX35G1I pump. Hoping to get it working. Pump appears to be good, Engine so far cleaned fly wheel/replaced coil, honed out cylinder/cleaned up head, new spark plug, new start switch, cleaned carburetor, changed engine oil, cleaned fuel tank. Just doesn't want to run. I may throw a spare carb on it to see what that does next. Can't complain though, got the whole shebang with a new frame for $140. Pump alone was worth that.

I have this same mower. It was running great until this past June and the belt drive to the blades shattered while mowing and now the blades aren't turning. The engine fires up easily and I could use it to thatch and push snow. I wanted to know if you believe this is worth fixing? If so, any idea the cost to fix it myself? Or should I sell it as is?

Correct carb kit for Honda gx160 or gx200 is only around 30 bucks from ebay and they work great. It has built in gasoline shutoff like original carb has.

If you get a carb/propane conversion carb with fuel shut off there is no issues with fuel line. You have a generator kit, it uses the fuel shutoff from the tank and not on carb like original carb has. Been there, done that and I have both carb conversions in shed now LOL.

Hi I have a DeWalt dxpw 3625 bout it for $100 guy said it was not getting preshure to shoot the water it starts right up but do you think it can be the unloader it doesn't leak or nothing or should i buy the whole pump and jyst eliminate something that i wont be abke to find thnk you

I have the same pump. It blew out 2 caps. The caps actually broke once the motor was running for about 30 seconds. What would cause this? To be clear, the caps i am referring to are the 3 caps inline next to the unloader.

Just heat the flywheel and they will pop off. I'm still confused about magnet orientation. I'm working with one that has white stripes on magnets. Does that mean North just like yours with the green dot. So I'm guessing we should put them with the dot or white mark up, every other one

The correct short spark plug is still available. Champion 843ECO. The grounding switch now easily works.

What was the reason you replaced the seals? I have one allowing water to get in the engine oil and was thinking these seals might be the reason.
