I like how his corruption mechanic makes you actually have to think about the items you pick up and how they will synergize because of how his corruption is affected by healing, void items, and crits.

Primary use case for the shield is actually protecting the turrets. The turrets can be focused down pretty hard with them being stationary, so being able to cut all the ranged damage away is a huge boon for them, especially during teleporter events, and especially when you can place the turrets outside of melee range like on a cliff or even on the spikes of the teleporter. It's defensive power is strong enough that sometimes you don't even need bungus.

your video is real cool but i think you need to have the live footage in your video slightly delayed from the audio as it ends up giving off an uncanny effect where you voice seems like it matches up with your footage but i doesn’t feel right. it’s just as simple as your mic is slower than your camera so offsetting it slightly, fixes that. idk if that’s the case but i hoped it helped. rex rise up

I play rex religiously, i am the plant and i will allways be plant man! His silly little legs are so silly :3

rex does seem like a strong character, but he also seems to have the highest skill floor of all the characters too. why should I bother learning how to use my hp bar as a mana bar when I could just hold M2 and click the funny boxes or swing around the entire map with like two clicks of M2 (I will eventually learn this silly robot plant but if the quest to unlock him was any indication, it's definitely not going to be easy lmao)

REX main here. In full honesty, I prefer the tertiary over pretty much every other mobility, since I find it more fun. Also, I can't believe they named a begonia after REX. Also also, the only thing to do to make REX less hated would probably be removing the self-damage issues in E8.

Ngl my favorite thing about Rex is his lore entry, I love playing him but dam that lore entry is funny

rex is one of my favourite characters in the game, not because i do the best playing him compared to all other character, but because of how unique and fun his game mechanics are and how good it feels when you can manage them right.

1:19 Just try a stun build or a gravestone build in dead cells, you will be pleasantly surprised that things can die around you for seemingly no reason in other games, too.
