Normally, you're stuck standing next to isma's tear waiting for the tutorial animation to finish. if you get hit by the hwurmp, it allows you to gain control early and save a bunch of time

Thats because the hitbox of your attack ends in the middle of your body so if you time it you can parry things behind you
