Occultist still sucks! Darkest Dungeon 2 stream highlights

I learned early on that my Occultist can heal my troops with speed trinkets to go first then weakening the frontline with his hex before they had the opportunity to lay on the hurt to the frontline. That or have a runaway in the party as well to do the real healing with her poker once you inevitably bled members of the party.

For sure! I'm hoping with the new changes maybe occultist cant be more useful for sure.

there is a trinket that increases ranged damage, which i combined with the talon or whatever that flat increases damage and idk man, the occultist makes a pretty good backline/3rd position, using his forward ability and the sac stab to be able to daze enemies i think. The occultist with a decently high crit chance and upgraded skills is pretty nutty tbh. just can onlly hit the back 2 positions if you dont use the stab which killed one of my runs.
