I just got mine from Amazon today, and I love it EXCEPT for the decanter. I had to order the regular ol classic ncd decanter.

I have a red one. It works well but that annoying loud beeping it’s making me crazy 🤪 and it comes twice: when the brewing is ready and when it stops heating. Please, there must be a way to disable it, just let me know how. Thanks.

Hi, thank you so much for your very clear instructions on the moss and stone percolator. You mentioned the plastic lid knob and I was so disappointed because the reason I bought this unit was to get away from plastic! The other thing about the metallic flavour, the instructions say to perk two pots of straight water before first using it. Maybe that’s why it tasted metallic? I’m also going to try the unbleached liners to grab some of the oils and make it easier to clean out the basket. Again, thanks for your demo. Finally,

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the brew later function but last night I said the to brew at 3 AM I went in the kitchen and there was no coffee in the pot. Yes, I am pour water in and put the grounds in the basket the night before I’m not sure what’s wrong. It’s been doing this a couple times Where I set the clock to brew the next day and nothing happens. It’s very strange as aggravating, which causes me to be late to work, I have to brew a cup manually before I leave the house.

What if I want it to start NOW

You are supposed to take the basket out and leave the stem in after the brewing is done. Are you not. My pot is 40+ years old and I still have the directions. Perhaps the newer ones it is not called for.

Do you need a water filter like other coffee makers? I use purified water from recycled jugs. I noticed a different taste in the coffee after using it for a few months.

I believer regarding the lack of amount indications on the pot, the makers were assuming no one is going to use the pot to fill the reservoir, like a lot of people do on a lot of machines, since you can easily pull it off and fill from the water tap. Or if they do then it still wouldn't matter since it's pretty easy to see the amount in the reservoir facing front and with all the space out there.

Perfect...Got clock set...and warming time & am enthusiastic about the first cup. Did 14 cup tap water run through....am soaking the filter for 15 mins & then install in container....add freshly ground coffee(through grinder so fresh)and into paper filter. Voila...First cup ! Thanks again...

PRO TIP: Use a cordless drill to turn the grinder shaft. I bought a JavaPresse grinder and find it takes over 90 turns; too many handle turns.

Greetings.. I bought the Oxo...cleaned parts...put back in...locked...added beans...set on medium and 10 seconds....everything securely in(base for grounds)...motor went...nothing comes out... I've been trying everything...diff't settings...bean out(1/4 plus a little more of beans)....I can't get the grounds to come out....beans in cup don't move...I try mixing them, etc.... Could you possibly suggest what might be wrong? I read manual...it's not too full...base with empty container is set correctly...as is the top.... I'm soo disappointed.... pls...help...
