As violently as they died.. the peace on both their faces is inspiring.. When you look upon Joseph's face.. you looking upon a man who stands with the greatest, such as Abraham, Moses, and so many others in the Bible.. He spoke face to face with God the Father and his son Jesus.. They both are now in the Hereafter in Eternal Glory.

The bipolarity in this presentation is highly distracting. One moment he is sobbing about the choices he made to waste several years of his life on the church and then the next burst out in song. He is clearly traumatized by all of the wrong choices he made, so I somewhat sympathize, but why pick your nose during a presentation? Really?

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This is the Sandra Tanner who with her fake Egyptologist Dee Jay Nelson ran scams on her minions for almost a decade. They made a fortune lying. When Nelson was outed as a fraud Tanner hid from investigators. If she did this in Europe she would have gone to prison...clearly she is still tricking the ignorant. .

Why do people want to listen to someone who isn’t strong enough to live the gospel. She couldn’t do it so now she makes fun of the Church and it’s leaders. Pitiful person.
@arailway88099 ай бұрын
What Sandra missed, is that religion is a thing of the heart, not of the mind. Spiritual journeys often have to be taken alone. Religion often puts guard rails up to discourage them. Mormon women teach that God loves them. That is a good teaching. Mormon charity is a good teaching. God bless her.

Sam, you are an absolute legend. We must protect our children from all harm, including those claim to be Christian, never mind holding any ecclesiastical office to abuse power to commit atrocious and heinous crimes against children, if not crimes humanity. The Mormon church, or “the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”, are not a part of the Christian church and they are ought to be excommunicated and anathematized from the body of Christ. Preferably as soon as possible.

I pray my children, still in the church, will come to Christ despite Mormonism--this will show them how phony it is. And that my children who have left will come to Christ despite the deceit they have endured. What a mess.

The Mormon church historically covers up these crimes. Utah had no laws prohibiting Anything imaginable sexually until C. 1880 and it took RN Baskin, prosecutor of Mountain Meadows Massacre and first "gentile " mayor of Salt Lake, to get good laws passed. And also, By Law, you didn't have to pay a lawyer!!

Protect Every Child used the balloons to guesstimate the crowd. Their number was 3200, since participation was fluid. Some only came to the courthouse. Some only marched. Some only came to the capital. Some participated in all of it. I got these numbers from Sam Young and Brian Bresee. My family and I witnessed the entire event. The news helicopters only arrived above the capital when almost everyone was already gone.

I have about 100 more pages to read of this book and cannot put it down! I appreciate the way this book has been written and the complete picture. I am related to Isaac Haight and this is the best account I have read. I recall visiting Cedar City many times and my father saying we had a lot of family there. Thank you for this well written and researched book! I see the people who follow Donald Trump the same way as these men and the Donald as behaving as Brigham Young. Down to his greed and not paying men for their work to the loyalty oaths and people given to believing conspiracy theories
@dianethulin17002 жыл бұрын
The biggest lie that Mormons tell themselves is that this was the work of fanatics in the South. In Isaac's case he did not want to move to Cedar City but did so out of loyalty to Brigham Young, who he had first met in 1838 in New York along with George A. Smith. I appreciate that Will Bagley made this connection that even Heber J. Grant acknowledged that he likely would have participated in such a dastardly act. At first I thought that the title "Blood of the Prophets" was a little dramatic. After reading the book I thought again and again how perfect that title is. One of the best books I have read in awhile

Thanks for producing and posting this excellent video! I was boots-in-the-ground with the "STOP HARBORING CHILD MOLESTERS" banner. Kudos to Sam Young and all those who are raising awareness about the horrific abuse and exploitation so many defenseless children are compelled to endure. Churches provide excellent cover and protection for child abusers. However bad you think it might be, the reality is far worse. For a sobering glimpse into the underbelly of how pervasive the Mormon Church's institutionalized protection of child molesters runs, check out this podcast interview of Tim Kosnoff, an attorney who has first-hand experience prosecuting more than a hundred cases of child abuse against the Mormon Church. There are three interviews on this link. Check out #258 first ... but be prepared. It ain't pretty. www.athoughtfulfaith.org/tag/tim-kosnoff/

I think the church’s billions mainly comes from it’s corporate holdings,land deals the church conducts it’s commercial business tax free, think of how much any major Fortune 500 company would be worth if it was able to conduct all it’s business totally tax free, then throw in generous donations by the membership each and every month and special sweetheart under the table deals negated by state and federal politicians, Then top it of free services provide by the General Membership and families sending their daughters on 2year and 18 month mission to recruit more members. Not a lot of fiscal overhead combined with a lot free labor and cash gifts makes the church into the ultimate money machine.
