There's talk that the Russians were first with paramedic-type persons but Pantridge wrote the book on early advanced coronary care. New York copied the idea a year after Freedom House pioneered advanced emergency training for lay persons. Miami began training firefighters in 1969 and had their first save that July. Now we have AED's in big buildings for laypersons.

Does anyone know how asthma is, after cardiac arrest?! Is it worse? The same? I can’t find any information on this specifically.

Fabrice is such a humble man and so intelligent. It is wonderful that he has no bitterness over his fate and has devoted his life to coach others.

ABI is connected to the event, private AED are not suitable for registration and provision of CPR is not mendatory. You will need to purchase your own to carry with 24/7 and are unable to register. Rehabilitation is what is missing... risk of "event" is too big! Beyond "risk factor" .... non negotiable way of refusal. Fear of legal suit and probable expense of compensation are too scary for many and refusal is safe option.

I'm so late seeing this production... but one of the most spectacular accounts of life, faith, near death, talent in art, skills in medicine & all phases of human effort hosted by the sturdy fragility of a miracle. Just exquisite!

A emotional journey for Fabrice and his family. Christain captured the essence of Fabrice, and the detailing with the key and 78 minutes to represent the length of time Fabrice was unresponsive was very touching. Also the meaning behind the three images of Fabrice. Christain is extremely talented and really sees either the person or the horse he is painting. X

I love the subjects chosen and the stories behind them. It adds so much to the portrait process🤩😍🥰I wonder if Fabrice had an experience while dead. Its a question that begs to be asked because he was dead for so very long.... The final portrait is superb and sublime it made me cry!

I have a Boston scientific ICD device on my back under the left shoulder blade. It has made my life miserable. Apart from it looking like mutilation (a large round device which sticks out very obviously on my back) with a very ugly scar, it’s uncomfortable in its placement. I’m pretty slim so it looks terrible with bare skin. I can’t sleep on my left side and for the last year I’ve had to sleep on my back and on my right side, and I’ve had to have a large pillow under the left side otherwise it’s too uncomfortable. I can’t wear regular bras as the band cuts into the device area, which my breast size needs the support. My EF is between 25 to 30 and I question whether I really need this. It’s going on a year and I’m miserable. There has to be a better solution for these ICD devices regarding size and placement. In this modern age of wireless charging, why can’t that be used apart from having a large battery which make a large size. Come on Boston Scientific. Can’t you do better with this?

If your EF is that low, you’re at risk of SCA and you need that ICD. I have an SICD and it saved my life in December. Just take it one day at a time 🙏

You're near death, and you're worried about the device looking bad? EF of 25 is awful. The vanity of the comment is laughable considering the gravity of your situation. I am sure this commentator is no longer alive.

Hello sir Iam suffering from heart palpitations for months and I can't tolerate this. All my vitals and test are normal my Doctor says it's due to anxiety. Bt I suffer a lot. Recently Ia came to see your session with Dr gupta. If you could contact him please ask him this question. That is it possible to cure heart palpitations permanently without a single palpitations. please sir

My son was on bete blockers ,statins , and blood thinners for years before his cardiac arrest so you wonder why he had one. he had no memory of it and lost chunks of his life five years on he has issues of memories

We're sorry to hear of your son's experience, but medications can only mitigate the risk of further issues and are not a 100% guarantee that something untoward won't happen. Without them it may have occurred sooner and there is overwhelming evidence to show that these medications reduce the risk in the population as a whole

I wonder if Fabrice has had a pacemaker inserted to circumvent any ventricular arrythmias which may result in cardiac arrest. Postscript: I asked this question before viewing the entire video which answers this query. Remarkable final portrait with the symbols of faith. Mr. Hook is most worthy of the award, Portrait Artist of the Year.
