A suggestion, paint the front part of the motor a color like hunter orange or red and use that as a mental marker.

The bottom center is long rod storage and the sides are good up to 12’-0” rods.

@@mattkeikkala726 better watch again 4:55 not big enough for rods. One thing i think they failed on this boat there should be rod locker, looks like there is room to drill holes in the floor compartment through the front builk head of the floor storage and put in tubes for rods. the tubes can be bent along the bottom of the hull of the boat. even if it was just 5 or 6 tubes. 2nd the front deck looks like there is wasted opportunity for a few more storage compartments 3rd the tackle fence should be right by the door of the live well on the starboard side where the boarding ladder is as that is a shin banger when climbing in the boat. or when your standing on swim platform you can sit down on the flat spot. and or spin your legs around and into the boat. 4th surprised there is no tow holds along the wall on the floor for when leaning over the side in rough water. at least on on each side maybe 2 ft long. 5th maybe move live well to port side or shrink it a bit and add an option for walk through transom from the swim platform as a multispecies boat with bow space this model will see more use in smaller warmer lake with families that like to swim. but north river does do custom. do these things in a 19 -20 fter with a 150hp and i would buy one. Maybe 20ft then there can be no foam) compared to the other multispecies platforms i am currently looking at.

@@longpointfishmaster he is incorrect on the center bottom storage, it will take long rods. I’ve climbed aboard a new one and it will accommodate rods below that goes into the bow space. The sides will take up to 12’-0” rods also. Look around there are some better videos from Erie Marine. My concern with this boat would be taking it on the ocean in inclement weather. North River has other boats built for that but I really like a lot of this model’s features.

Length for length- apples to apples with all being equal it will be hard to tell them apart. Surprisingly close. They both have a tapered V's. Thanks for watching, we will have more videos coming out as we go into 2024!
