Hoping for "Sweet Angeline", but go "Golden Age of Rock and Roll". It's a fair switch!

That’s 20 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. Thy were supposed to play out west and I pondered a road trip to see them. Glad I didn’t. They’re dreadful. Good night now..

I felt Mick Ralphs excelled better with Bad Company. I wad 10 yrs old in 1974, my introduction to Mott was The Hoople album, the bought the live album. Love Ariel Benders tone. Saw Hunter Ronson much later, with Heart. Great songwriters. Especialy like - Rose, Pearl & Roy England, Crash Street Kids, Marionette, Walking wit a Mountain live.

15 year old me stayed up ovenight at the box office of the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix in 1974 to be the first in line. I was! Front row. Not so much luck with the Mott 74 reunion tour. Cancelled days ahead because of Ian's tinnitus. Huge bummer. Thanks for posting this.

Love Luther Grosvenor (Ariel), he was very kind to me when I was a young teenager. Take that Strat away from him and put a Les Paul Junior back in his hands.

Old Rockers need to hang it up while they were on top. Sad set, but I miss 'Pearl 'N Roy' off 'The Hoople' 1974, AND Crash street kids' Robert at 68.

50 years ago I attended my very first rock concert. Mott the Hoople was the warm up band, making them the first band I saw live. 50 years and 50 shows later, they are still one of my favorites.

We always thought the line in Indian Lake was Swim in the cove, have a snack in the grove, or you can wreck a canoe. It's too bad they are stuck singing an ad after all these years.

I like that they have a band behind the groups permanently it sounds great. I dont like the turtles now as its missing the founding member who has cancer. Plus they took Ron Dante and put him in the turtles and we dont get to hear him singing the Cuff Links Songs like Tracey.

This phony "Classics IV" diminishes the credibility of the entire show. They need to cut them out. The Buckinghams sound pretty bad without their original lead singer. Gary Puckett probably should retire; he just can't hit the notes of his big hits. Ron Dante is still great, but did they have to cut Sugar Sugar short? Sorry to be so critical. I loved all of these acts in the 60s and bought most of their records. But this show was a disappointment.

I saw Mott live in 1974 when Queen was their oping act. It was the best rock concert I have ever been to. This was at NY City's Uris theater. Coincidentally, those two bands were my two top favorite rock bands back then. Strangely, Morgan Fisher played piano off stage

I was unable to attend the following night US tour ender in my hometown of NYC and this video both kicks my ass rightfully so for my inability to say F it to what I ended up doing that night and kicked my ass by the end of watching it because it showed me what I missed and what I missed was a rather iconic performance by a rather iconic band. Bill Busha, this is one of the greatest uploads unto utube as I've ever had the pleasure of being steered to one (thanks Jason Rubin for the FB share!). It certainly would have been one of the best two hours spent in a venue had I been able to attend. Long Live Mott!
