Beautiful work. How many hours did you spend doing this particular job?

Hi, Adele. Good morning from Toronto, Canada. I love the way you work and think about getting a composition, thank you so much for sharing what you do and this video, or I should say, both videos are completely amazing lessons, that I want to take advantage of and use on my next work. I have a tendency to experiment a lot. We all know that abstract art is very subjective, this is one of the reasons I like abstract art very much. Thank you for the free downloads. Have a happy day!

I love this Adele. I thought you were going to use hardware store paint swatches. Even better, you made your own. I’ve struggled with values when I do anything other than monochromatic work. As soon as I bring in more colours I get confused. I do take photos of my work and look at them in black and white which helps. I’m definitely going to play this game regularly. Knowing the values needs to be more instinctive for me and this game is how to do it. Thank you!

Fun & easy peasy...BUT when do you identify what colors you mixed to get the color that shows on the front?
@AdeleSypesteynStudio18 күн бұрын
I do triangular color charts to keep track of how I am mixing the paint and what value they come out.

Thankyou Adele This is very helpful and an excellent tool to use in our art practice. So much fun can be had in mixing up new colour combinations and putting them on binder rings for their correct colour value. I appreciate your lessons very much and plan to join your academy in the new year. I am moving in Dec, so can then set up a new art space and resume my art practice ❤🙏

Also cant you look through a coloured filter ? Like a red plastic or yellow . It seems I have a colour Fan Deck that came with clear plastic filters to look through to judge your colours there may have been a red yellow and blue
