The biggest noise change in the exhaust is from the removal of the cats. I had a catless downpipe and it sounded worlds better than most ecoboosts. I got tired of the fumes and O2 lights so I replaced it with a stainlessworks catted downpipe. It made it sound like every boring EB with a simple catback bolt-on.

Yes, it was worth it! It had a ton more traction, especially in the rocks. I didn’t notice any issues with balancing either.

Turbos and chambered mufflers don't work well together, you need a straight through muffler, plenty of Dyno sessions out there proving this

I have a 2015 F150 Ecoboost Platinum. It's currently rotting in my driveway. Only has 54k miles on it. It has weather teck floor mats, sprayed bed liner and roll and lock bed cover. All maintenance done at the same dealership. Same dealership just soaked me for 5500 bucks for repairs. My gift to humanity is don't buy this model or this truck. Go GMC or Chevy or just ride the bus. The F150 Ecoboost is a rolling wallet draining nightmare.

Yep the 5.9 gas, I’m running leveling coils from thuren with a wfo long arm kit. I have a shackles flip in the rear from dodge off road

I was thinking that I would repurpose this machine after my kids aren't on bottles and I did wonder if anyone had actually done it already. You know what they say about great minds! I'm honestly surprised that their company hasn't used their own current patents and made some adjustment to it for marketing to fitness/ body building, they already have a working product.

It sounds really good. Better than I thought a V6 would or could sound. Does is drone in the cabin when you drive? That's my only concern when doing exhaust upgrades on any vehicle regardless of V6 or V8.

No. Notice how he never rev'd it past 1500 rpms. Every eco boost exhaust video they all do that. Because once they do rev it it sounds just like you would expect a v6 to sound. They're just fooling you

I’m looking to do this to my truck (except full straight pipe) and I’m not worried about passing safety inspection with no muffler, but I am worried about emissions testing with no cats. What’d you have to do to pass the test?

I took the cats off. I am now in deep regret of my decision, and I’m looking at a $200 fee to weld them back on.
