no pieces left behind....lol. Just start low, and increase slowly ;) The thing about tincture that I like, is I CAN start with a small dose, wait a 20 minutes if Im not getting a desired affect. cause yea Im sure the shake/trim will be less potent.

Loved this video! Do things like rose petals or buds, orange slices etc need to be taken off when the burning reaches them?

im curious too? I've seen some videos where they recommend shaking the jar and "burping" the jar once or twice a week, as it soaks up, sitting in a dark cabinet or freezer?

This is remarkable, I know about tinctures and even glycerin tinctures, but I did not know about oxymel and they make so much sense. I just picked some anise hyssop and intend to do a tincture, but maybe I’ll try some of it with this, I do have some honey on hand! Thank you so much for all the great information

Thanks for putting this out! I've been foraging on northern Indiana for nearly 12 years, mushroom hunting for 20 and am planning a group foray today with 14 others. One thing I learned is that many seeds require stratification to germinate. Do you have any videos that detail how to germinate a various seeds? Do you ever consume any of the seeds you harvest?

im finna mix my old stems up with some whiskey... reminds me of producing music, where we take the melody stems and build something fresh with them. Just like how the stems from the track are essential to the final mix, even these leftover ones can create something smooth and memorable.

I personally would not recommend it, one of the "glories" of using tincture is the sublingual dosing....drop the tincture dosed right under your 👅 where it can soak straight into the capularies and into the blood stream. If you just drink it, the tincture will have to go through the stomach acid and digestive system....so the dosing "may" not be as high.....since the stomach acid mayu dissipate a lot of the goodies.....before they make it down to the liver for the liver enzymes to active it.

I was just reading that the resin in the green base of the flower holds more medicinal component. Using only petals is less potent. The whole head of the flower is best for medicine. Is there a reason to omit it when tincturing? I've never made a tincture.
