Bryan's vocals too smooth to compete with Jimi Hendrixs pashioned version.

What everyone forgets when they see covers like this with five guitars and backing vocalists is that Hendrix did this with two other players, Mitch on drums and Noel on bass

Dylan did the original on acoustic guitar and harmonica. Sorry, still the best. Go back and listen to the master

Good, and great artists on stage with Brian, but I like what Jimi Hendrix does to this song better.

I lived with a bunch of Deadheads in college in the early 80s. Whenever we had a party, it was the Dead, Dead, and more Dead, with a little Dylan and Neil Young thrown in to change things up. I liked the Dead ok, but preferred bands like The Clash, Talking Heads, and Roxy Music. I snuck a tape of Love is the Drug into the stereo at one party and they loved it. Roxy Music became an acceptable break from the Dead at future parties, and so did the Talking Heads eventually. They just needed to hear the brilliance of these bands.

Made bearable by the great musicians around him but he always was and still is a pretentious poseur!

A lot of referencing to Dylan's song... actually per Dylan once Hendrix covered the song it was his... and Dylan said he has never sang it the same since Hendrix covered it. He also said Hendrix can have any song of his he wants.

Thank you Mr. Bob Dylan. And not thank you Mr Ferry. This arrangement is so...flat and boring. But Times they ara a-changin' from Dilanesque album ....Ferry did a great job there.

Nobody could sing Dylan songs like Bryan Ferry. Including Bob Dylan himself.
I finally caught up with Ferry and Roxy Music in the 80s. The King of Cool and always backed up by the best musicians. Been a fan ever since. 🎤🎸
