If you have warmer temperature will grow. That means over 20 degrees centigrade.

Not sure if my comment is valid but years ago when I planted, I kind of remember scraping each seed on something rough and then soaking it’s been too long, so I’m not sure how many germinated, but it seems like most of them

“Only three (3) of the seeds germinated” - are you happy with that ? I prefer a much higher germination rate, and thus find your video a lesson in How NOT To ! ! !
@debbiethomas26225 ай бұрын
Even with the freshest of seeds, 50% germination isn’t guaranteed. Most of the time, i get good germination rate with the warm water soak.
@obuw13 ай бұрын
I planted 20 seeds this year after 2-3 hours of soaking, and only 2 of them germinated. I then planted another 20 seeds with no soaking, and none of them germinated. I think I will try a 24 hour soak next time. I think nasturtiums must have a notoriously bad germination rate.

Thank you for sharing your experience ❤❤❤ Can I start planting in October?! Does is need fertilizer??
@HomeGardening123 Жыл бұрын
Thanks 🙏🏼 October is not planting time, you must start planting in March/April. I didn't used fertiliser because the soil was mixed some, but if it grows weak or something like that, it's fine to use fertiliser after planting.

There is a difference from place to place due to weather conditions. When it is over 20 degrees, it can be planted and lasts until autumn.

@HomeGardening1232 жыл бұрын
As soon as the leaves have grown, you can eat them, due to the weather conditions with me, it took about 6 weeks to be edible. If it's warmer climate, can grow faster.
