To play devil's advocate, somewhat, men and women can be friends. While I agree with Locario on the point that male/female friendships are not real, I’d say it’s because they’re not real due to sexual tension. If there is ANY sexual tension, it’s not a real friendship... and most aren’t real. Most male/female "friendships" involve one person playing a position, hoping for sex. If you’ve already been intimate, there can be friendship. If you're making money together, there can be friendship, at least a business relationship. If you've known her since childhood and you find her unattractive, there can be friendship. I think I heard Locario say this. Other than this, I’d say it’s most likely not a real friendship. Again, there can be no sexual tension.

Let's even forget about sex tension women like to do a lot of small talk and talk you about their problems .
