I totally get that because it's annoying when people try to persuade or guilt trip you into investing into something you don't want because of fear of missing out. Same thing goes with women, why don't they get with that woman if they're so convinced if she's a good woman? If I'm not feeling that woman or the connection isn't that great, I'd only be wasting my time.
