I come here to see if I am the only person that got a guitar with bad fret ends, a nut that I measured at .20 at the low E 1st fret. After a new nut, about 2 hours total of setup it is playable.' That said, I guess I am not a fan of a D neck. And also not a fan of the bridge pickup, maybe tone down the amp for it? Really could use tone control. It will be the first guitar I sell. Sometimes you just can't fall in love with something. Nice playing bro.

Thanks for the review. In every review I've come across this coil tap thing just sounds like a mistake, whereas the Epiphone Studio has coil splits, which actually have more of a useful musical aplication. Weird - what are Gibson thinking? "Wet blanket over the amp" . . . 'fraid so. Shame, the neck is lovely (played this and the Epi a few times).

Sounds like a Hammond B3 through a Marshall, Ala Deep Purple.

Beautiful tone and playing - what did you rewire with: pots, values, caps? I have an old Rocket I love but don't touch the knobs - i just leave them all the way up - i'd love to be able to use the vol and tone on it...thanks!

Real nice 👌 i have this guitar my question is why dosen't anyone but me show how it sounds acoustic not plugged in because that is part of the semi hollow body guitar so you can play in a Place without electricity or even to practice in a hostel room without desterbing..anyone else 😊

I paid $350 for mine....worth every penny. The three plug adapters for different regions of the world a nice bonus too...glad you mentioned that in the video. For me, I bounce from North America and Asia often. But it's nice to know that if I plan to go to Europe too, my tech 21 fly rig RK version 2 can as well. Stay safe all. Peace.

2021 SGs are the best modern SGs. I played one and couldn’t put it down. I broke a sweat over deciding to buy it. I ultimately walked away because I’m saving for something else but it’s still on my mind. I’m super duper picky with guitars and this one hit the target.

Sire has more snap and punch, PRS more reserved. Funny because the L7 had the Santana sound and the PRS not so much. Go figure.

Would be nice if you used it without any other effects. I think you've at least got some reverb going through it. Also, I can say for sure that this is not what an OCD sounds like.

Thanks for the info. I've had a 1995 wine/gold hardware sitting in my den as a decoration since 1995. Just recently decided to learn to play it. Interesting hearing feedback on the different iterations of the Studio since '95. I'm sure I don't yet have enough experience to feel all the differences between Les Pauls but maybe one day.
