How do you think that beefy bridge impacts the tone? Does it help when compared to the standard L-bracket assembly? (I remember in the early 80’s when a lot of Bass players started to swap out their bridges for massive steel or brass bridges to help round-out the sound coming from their Jazz bass’…maybe this suggests Leo Fender’s solution to that problem?)

For a top loader it sounds good. It also locks on the side minimizing play in the strings. Stays in tune great.
