My aunt was a nurse for a physician Dr. Blake Meador in Richmond, Virginia. His brother and sister in law Dr. Carl and Margaret Meador were at the conference and both perished in the fire.

I can't say that I loved my experience at Willard. But, I was thrilled to see multiple people call out Mrs. Delp. She was an incredible teacher - tough, smart, hip, and inspiring. She has left a lasting impact on me so many years later.

I, too, have great memories of Willard. The quality of teachers was very high, though while I was there (grad 1962) three teachers became involved with their students. I came from Emerson, so Willard was my first racially integrated experience, and it was extremely positive. Many of my new classmates remain my most valued friends.

My grandmothers father was a firefighter when the incident happened. He could not eat, sleep, or even look at my grandmother. (She was 8 at the time). My grandmother's father was tasked with removing the bodies of the floor with only women and children.

Denmark is more than wind mills and danish pastry. It is more than Carlsberg beer. It is a way of living. The danish modern society is based on trust and that I would call the most important part of being danish. Yeah the title of this video seems to me a bit arrogant and bold.
@danis84553 жыл бұрын
Yea its a bit silly. danish pastry is completely german import as well. And i think the windmills are actually a dutch design orginally. Its bit funny with the woman saying they dont have the jante lov. Since in some extend that has som ingrain in what it means to be Dansih.

Mr Mopps was also my childhood happy place. I love to know that one of 'us' bought it and kept it going! That makes this even more special! I'm now a homebased toy store myself in Australia - but I aways visit Mr. Mopps when I go home. I love the original floor and the feel and seeing some of the quirky little toys and novelties I used to love as a child still available. <3 Love this.

One day we will drain the swamp of oath breaking cops! Too many cops abuse others using their applied immunity to harm and get away with it! Time to end this nonsense!

Terrible fire. Good to hear your story! Today there is doubt that Erik Solbakke Hansen was guilty.

And he was been innocent convicted to fire on the hotel and a murder on a 15 year old Girl on a Island named Fanø also in Denmark he died in prison he was there in 8 years poor Erik

He's obvously fluent in danish but he speaks very outdated kind of. it's nothing to do with dialect or anything. I can't put my finger on it. maybe it's the lack of expressions used today.
@danis84553 жыл бұрын
Its an american DIalect i would be tempted to say, the punctuation is just off to any Danish dialect new or old. The woman sounds more like a Danish dialect.

i hear 12 years had to pass before the arson got caught. Erik Solbakke Hansen was a mentally challenged (to some extent) and the Hotel Hafnia fire is one amongst many. Pia lys burned and on a trip with his institution he tried to rape but killed instead. A 15 year old girl in 1980

The body, meanwhile, has its own centre of balance - just below the navel. If, without consciously moving your body, you can learn to 'prod' that point with your mind the body will sort itself out. That is not to say that a knowledge of how you move is not valuable. Understanding both ends of the spectrum in balance too is ideal!
