Does it really reduce cost when we have to buy an additional piece?
@Outdoorsmans17 күн бұрын
Our goal was to keep the cost of the Binocular Adapter down. It's designed to work with our proprietary system, but the accessory gives the option to folks with Arca Swiss heads. You can also use any plate that fits in your tripod head, so nobody "has" to do anything!

I'd still give the edge (no pun intended) to the ELs for sure. Also, the new lower pricing on ELs makes the decision a little tougher, but the advantage of the SFL is the size and weight. Great for bowhunters, etc.

This is for the EL and EL Range binoculars only. Nearly every other model of binocular uses a simple thread-in stud that you can do in 5 seconds at home!
@purtnearperkins6 ай бұрын
Epic Outdoors in Utah also has a stud available that fits the Swarovski tripod mount. It’s black and blends in with the binos without noticing and it’s not nearly as obtrusive. The Swarovski mount is a lever quick release. Both are great, but if you already have a Swaro tripod adapter it’s a fantastic option. I corresponded with Swarovski North America and the guy said he is hopeful they will have their own mount for the NLs this summer during the new product release. They’ve been asking for it for several years.

How would you compare this scope to a trijicon credo, Zeiss v4 vortex razor lht, maven rs1.2? Lowlight capabilities, clarity, etc?
@Outdoorsmans6 ай бұрын
(From Joe) We don't have a ton of experience with the Trijicon, but I would say it’s a slight upgrade from the Zeiss. The LHT scopes are great, but they don't quite compete optically. The Amplus performed well enough in low light that I didn’t like take note of anything or thought that it was subpar in any way. It also tracks extremely well and held zero extremely well. Optically, Leica is one of the better options, and at this price point you're getting a lot of value.
