I always thought the mirror universe borg would be like a sort of safeguard of the best of each species. Not forcing every species to submit to it but rather a slow burn sort of acquisition through subtlety and its best and most positive attributes. I also thought that there would be a more Merciful aspect of the assimilation you would keep your "self" But more like be constantly online than anything mindless

V'ger is far beyond the Borg. I think V'ger is more like Bender meeting God and getting upgrades.

I think there is room for an animated series following the original crew between movies number five and six, or an animated or live action series following the enterprise B

Great Video, would be cool if the Betreka Nebula Incident would be included.

Always found it odd that the Excelsior class got a refit but the Ambassador was quickly ditched in favor of the Galaxy class. You even see more Excelsior's than Ambassador's in the shows too. Poor thing never got the love being sandwiched between two rockstars.

I like the idea that Newport News still exists by the 24th century and is still producing ships.

I already know complainers are gonna complain about the almost certain uniform changes that will happen. Would be pretty cool if they used the original uniforms though

4:38 that would actually be a bad technobabble, quantum entanglement has nothing to do with fixing things in place, its just that the entangled particles cant be described separately, a change in one results in a change in another, as per einstein: "a spooky action at a distance"

On Galaxy Warp is normally idle on 25:1 so called Warp 0, Warp 1 has 10:1, until Warp 9 has 10:10 and 11:11 and more and most times at normal work, its 0.5 mln Ampers running around.

Star Trek Continues (which you can watch on KZbin) is a fantastic fan series. Their third episode was what happened to the mirror Enterprise. The show is just incredible. It has equal, if not better, production value than the original series.

I read all of the "Lost Era" books, and they weren't that great. Though the second-to-the-last one with Captain Harriman and the magic star was pretty good.

Personally, I like the Ross Class. Granted she's not a perfect blend between the Sovereign and Galaxy like the Allegiance Class... but I'm willing to give this ship a chance. Plus, she's got a custom bridge made by a talented digital artist and I love it.

I'll point out that the Collective does have larger cubes - since we're mostly talking about STO canon, they're called "Tactical Cubes." In fact, most of the assets for the Kingdom (except for the Assimilators) are just reskinned Collective assets, the same way that Cooperative assets are.

I agree with you on the look of the Excelsior and the Constitution Refit class ships. They are a thing of beauty. Although, I’ll take Constitution Refit over the Excelsior, though barely.

Hi. In your Movie, about 4 nacelles, Galaxy class has two nacelles, each with one line from the reactor. Does that mean, reactor charges the line with plasma, with more electricity, for example 500.000 ampers to achieve Warp by inducing electromagnetic field strong enough. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYmqqal_m7ljgZosi=VyntJOUsztUHZ_EW It would mean 4 nacelles mean 2 reactors and 4 lines right?

Vinculum is Latin so the plural would be vinculi. I think they're saying "vincula/vinculae" in the game which case either they know something I don't or else they're just wrong. I call it 50/50.

I would love to see a series taking place in "The Lost Era" time period, as long as it is faithful to the ship designs and uniforms established for that era by the TOS movies and TNG.

Cool Video! I wonder. Each Matter Antimatter reactor for example Galaxy one, makes annihilation possible. These conduits, two on Galaxy starship, they go to the two nacelles. Does that mean, warp plasma is just plasma that circulates around the ship and when necessary it is being electrified by annihilation snd when activated, we go warp when they say Warp 1, which is 10:1 by Manual and Warp 0, idle, when 25:1? I watched NX-01, but I am not sure completely.

It's not...Romulan Warbirds use artificial singularities...hell, you can probably do warp travel with a fusion reactor, but you'll not get the performance to go to warp 9 out of that and you aren't building small shuttles with that, as the reactor is probably quite large if you want to exceed warp 5!

eh i'd love to see what actually happened to the enterprises B and C, preferably a extended look at their lines. and maybe a bit of a look at the culture of the federation during the lost era. what was notable, what was trendy, what got the people pissed, what made the people laugh, and maybe a few romantic scenes too. just stuff i'd like to see, that probably will never be answered, but star trek just follows what starfleet does for the most part, and i'd like to see whats going on when its the average joe. maybe a 5 season 24 episode per season of a average joe in the federation, first season being in 2100 to 2170, season 2 being set in 2170 to 2270, the third season going from 2270 to 2350, the fourth going from 2350 to 2420 and the fifth going from 2420 to 2500. maybe its just me that thinks this, but seeing what the federation citizens had, what technologies they had, the culture, and laws, what was going on during the wars, what people saw, what media coverage was like, what computers looked like in the homes of everyday citizens.. god man, the possibilities of such a series is endless and honestly, it would be a nice change of pace from the heroism of starfleet captains with slick tongues, book smarts, and the occasional nod to TOS era. just gotta apply some good writing to make it good. hell you can even suggest that polyamory is a thing, and maybe the 2nd season shows 5 people in a polyamorous relationship living together, having fun, drinking tea, making shit, maybe even baby making and raising a family. maybe one of them can be a kinky sort, and another one can be a slient bookworm? maybe one is a innovator, who loves to tinker but sometimes catches the apartment on fire and glorious chaos ensues!

This is one of the more interesting time periods, in my opinion. I always liked the 2290s and later, but never quite took to the TNG stuff as readily. So when I'm running a Star Trek game, I usually set it in the late 90s early 2300s. So this was some great info!
