You likely wont see this given its a 5 year old video. But in the off chance you do, if you put your spray cans in hot water (not boiling just hot) for about 20-30 minutes before you spray, it eliminates orange peel.

Awesome job, you gave so much needed info that other KZbinrs don't come close to and did it concisely & didn't repeat stuff, keeping it short & sweet. Thank You!!!

I have found that with fresh clear with 30-60 minutes of cure time you can use 1000 or 1500 grit sand paper then hit it with a heat gun and all the samding marks go away and you end with a super glossy finish.

Why would you even do that? Just buy the BLACK plastic grille. Do y'all hang chandeliers in haunted houses by any chance? Same concept.

I know this is old but to anyone doing this…..Wet out your tint coats after the tack coat and it will reduce orange peel. Don’t wet sand the tint. spray a couple clear coats and then wet sand the clear followed by a final wet coat. This way you eliminate any risk of burning through the tint layers.

Your video was extremely helpful. I was able to successfully tint my wife’s tail lights great results. Moisture inside the tail lights had caused them to become cloudy and they looked kinda bad. LED taillight assemblies with lane departure sensors etc. would have been incredibly expensive to replace just for cosmetics. Thank you
