What I DO NOT like about it is the hot exhaust exits straight out the back. If you're not careful and you back up to Vinyl Siding or some of the Gazebo Curtains out there and the like, you can melt them with the hot exhaust. Believe me I know. With my other leaf blower ( a Ryobi) this is not a problem.

Another great thing to do (and is cheap) is after cleaning the deck, allow it to dry, and lightly spray (dollar store) Vegetable/Olive oil on the underside to prevent rust! Hello from Seattle, Washington

There's another rule - only use a blade on a machine designed or manufactured by the makers of the machine. The manufacturers of the machine and the blade bear no responsibility for use of their product outside of their recommendations. I haven't seen this video in its entirety, but there are some comments here that warn against attemptingt to adapt a machine for blade that wasn't designed for it; and their reasons are sound. Personally, I would not attempt this.

i HAVE A TORO SUPER RECYCLER WITH A DIFFERENT BLADE COVER. I MOVED THE BRIGGS ENGINE TO A CRAFTSMAN DECK AND ADDED AN ARNOLD EXTREME UNIVERSAL BLADE AND I SAW A FEW MINUTES USING THE ARNOLD BLADE THAT THE TOOTH ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BLADE GOT BENT. CAN AN ARNOLD EXTREME UNIVERSAL BLADE BE USED ON A CRAFTSMAN DECK. THE FUNNY THING IS THE CRAFTSMAN DECK WAS HIGHER THEN THE TORO BUT THE BLADE STILL GOT BENT. ANY IDEAS OTHER THAN DECK SPACERS OR A SHORTER BLADE ADAPTOR?
