I was fortunate to have eaten at this restaurant in 1985 once, and all I can say, is that I’ve NEVER had a steak taste experience like that again, anywhere since! If people say they had better, we’ll fine, but that steak I ate in 1985, was a once in a lifetime experience. I can still remember the delicious smell of the steak when they brought it out to us! ❤

I’m a local and all are on my list, this was the kick to go. Recs for your next trip: Stachowski’s deli on P Street in Georgetown is insane, get the roast beef sandwich then tell me what is better as it is the best I’ve had anywhere in all my years; Makan on 11th Street NW is Malaysian and the Nasi Ganja (fried chicken) dish is amazing and Sago for desert - everything I’ve had there makes me want to return the next day; Seki Izakaya may be the best Japanese joint I’ve been to outside Japan and go through the specials; and Anju a Korean restaurant that every dish puts me in a happy place, the Ssam board may be a favorite but it all is easily favorite meal worthy..
