Hmm sadly none of this reasons are helpful at least for me 😢 my stepchild loves me and its just annoying. I dont want a close relationship with her, it would be ok for me to be like an aunt.

That boundary that you needed notice wasn't seen as bad? If those girls were your bio kids you would have to learn to manage a newborn and 2 energetic kids? Asking for personal not bashing. Seriously need help in that aspect. Don't come for me lol

Imagine getting up early prepping everything all for the child not to eat still 😂😂😂😂 and wants to cry every second they breathe. We did go down to bed on time last night though! So that’s a plus! Staying positive!

You definitely can end up working more if you don’t set boundaries. Try set a timer on your phone for breaks and to remind yourself to end your day.

Oh, Momma.. I promise you will long for this when they are older. My Baby is 16 and doesn’t need me like that anymore , & it’s a hard adjustment.. Tip I just wanted to mention- when my daughter was little I always had a snack cupboard that was at her level with snacks ready to go for her and also juice boxes, little bottles of water, & fridge snacks prepared for her to grab . May free up a little time for you 🙂

Very helpful video! I’m a new childless stepmom. My partner has 2 kids from his previous marriage. They live with us full time. I offered to start getting up with them to get them ready for school and did it for 6 months but then started realizing boundaries were being crossed. I was always running an hour late to work, I was resentful and grumpy in the mornings and asking myself, how am I getting up more mornings per week getting the kids off when their parents are sleeping in? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️. So I told my partner earlier today actually that for the new school year their mom will need to start coming again to get them ready at least 4 days a week. I feel so much lighter now that I got that off of my chest! I didn’t realize how much my boundaries are being crossed! Perhaps when they are older and more well behaved I will be able to deal better! 🤷🏾♀️

I've turned into such a trash goblin since I started working from home. Like literally rolling out of bed and straight onto the laptop, barely leaving the house for days and days, grazing all day. Terrible habits! Need to get it together, thanks for the ideas.
