Hey brother! Happy New Year to you and your pals and family. I would like to try this tequila, but as you know, the stores here don't sell much of a variety, and certainly not of additive-free expressions. I have added a few interesting ones (treating myself to them at Colonial in LR however, and am enjoying them. Don't know if I mentioned it but they have a section dedicated to additive free versions and I love that. There are no others up this way that do that, and yet Tequila is very much up and coming in the States. Whatever. People up here are beer and whiskey drinkers. The scotch selection stinks too, unless you head up to Branson or Springfield. Just stopped at Courseys coming back from south Arkansas and picked up some cut ends of fine smoked ham, by the way. Take 'er easy, bro!

Are Deschutes beers normally available in your area? Could be a limit to their distribution area, or maybe they just don't have enough volume production to distribute to all the Costcos nationwide. I'm on the west coast, so I'll have to check next time I'm at one of my local Costcos.

I like to go to Molly's at Lakeside and Golden Liquors in Golden across from Coors brewery. Both have a great selection and are worth checking out. SALUD!

My friend just gave me a 350ml “lapiz” amd its still sealed. The liquid doesnt go all thebway to the top. Justvunder. Wonder if thats normal

Great question! I have not seen a 350ml in person before. It should have a little bit of air in it for sure, that is normal. You can keep tipping it upside down to keep the Cork wet, that will help it from drying out and causing evaporation and leakage. Nice bottle too!

I definitely think this would go great with coffee! Hot or iced. Check around your bigger liquor stores. Full Throttle is a bigger brand and I have seen it for sale on line at big liquor stores that have physical locations.

Beautiful bottles! is the tequila from Nom 1580 good? I have a 375ml blanco from 1079 havent opened it yet.

It is a unique situation. Long story short, the distillery changed NOM numbers. Same distillery, new NOM. Some brands left when this happened some that stayed had different production methods used and different facilities used in making thier Tequila. So the new NOM 1580 is good, just not as delicious as 1079. Hope that helps. SALUD!

If the bottle looks like the empty bottle in this video, then yes, it is very tasty. I am not sure what happened but the new bottling is not as good. These old bottles are good for sipping but really makes a great mixer too. SALUD!

I always appreciate your perspective but I have the same DonV batch 4 & it's not earthen or savory, it's like G4 with the agave turned up to 11. I would even say it's sweeter than G4, I'm getting pear & a hint of floral honeysuckle. I have some savory mezcal & bacanora, DonV is pretty far from that flavor profile.
