Can you have 2 characters from different Jagex accounts open at the same time? I know you said to close the launcher each time, but what if you had a runelite window open? Would it stay?

Thank you so much! It didn't work the first time, sometimes it stayed open and other times you had to open it yourself but it closed automatically. I wanted to try to do the assembly one last time and everything works and on both sides too! I am delighted after the many tries I was able to do.

Just wanted to add a comment, the daggers next to each number will actually have a Dot corresponding to where the digits will be in the sequence. So instead of guessing the combinations, just look at the hilt of the daggers.

Fun fact, the Pressure Plate and Camera both function the same, so you can just replace the pressure plate with another Camera on the opposite side of the door for what I would consider a "cleaner" setup

Tried it today and it seems like it doesnt work at all now. Only 1 sensor/pad will work at a time.

There does seem to be some weirdness with the sensors and pads, Honestly if you have the time just take it down and re-build it. I had one I had to rebuild twice then it worked fine from then on.

does it not close on its own? I cant seem to find any way to get doors to auto close. no point in them opening if they stay that way until I walk back by the camera. they should adjust the cameras to have a visible detection zone and it shouldnt be an on/off switch, it should be on as long as youre in its view. and add a flush pressure plate because the big ones they have will ruin the look of a lot of builds so people will avoid them since they dont want a big ugly thing sitting on the floor in front of doors.

tried exactly as you said and done, it works only one way. meaning door only opens but doesn't close. tried what some other dude said about replacing the pressured pad with another camera but still the same only opens it and stays open. i can hear the clicking both ways .

Tbh I the only reason I cared about an auto door was so that I don’t have to close my doors so ppl won’t go in and leave whisperers but if you don’t power it the door actually closes on its own. So how to get the doors working? Don’t power them 😅

i did exactly everything as is in the video. from the inside through the pressure pad i can open the door automatically but from the outside it doesnt open and when i hover on the door it says insufficient power. but its working from the inside

On the outside can you hear the click from the camera at all? I have had it happen to me on another base and had to delete the camera and a bit of wiring and re-do it and it started working again.

You can always try to play around with the pressure pad as well sometimes that gets placed to close to the door and it won't allow it to work

Automatic doors should just work. They tried to add too much 'reality' into the game and made everything so muddy that parts of the game are impossible to play. Great guide though.

I tried building Automatic Doors with 2 different switches so I could both OPEN and CLOSE them at will when need be, I get one switch to work once, then I go the second one and nothing works, then I go back to the first one and it stops working. I tried several variations using isolated power networks to see if using the same electrical cable was affecting it; NOPE, doesn’t work, in fact BOTH of the switches stopped working even though they were lit up and my doors were stuck open💀💀💀💀 It’s realistic, but not at the same time like wtf

The pad is a switch as well as the camera is a switch, you can just replace the pad for another camera up top on the other side of the door if you need to close it when you come in.

I know this is supposed to work like this, but for some reason my game was glitching out on me when I tried two cameras which is why I went with this method.

Decent guide, I weren't a fan of the automated doors myself as I prefer the dark wood double doors and no wires.

You can hide wires I dont know why people keep them showing. Just press L in build mode to hide pipes and wires.

Just run along the water banks for flowers, use boiled water and flowers to make tea, sell that tea to vendors since even first zone has a shop vendor you can sell too.
