My uncle was Concorde Captain flying in the 1980s. I saw him years ago before he died. He said "Now I watch them flying up there in the sky and it all seems like a dream." Anyway, I've downloaded it and it's ready for me to hit the Start a new flight button. I feel a bit nervous! Will be so great to see what he did.

Excellent job. My father was a Captain on this and I was lucky enough to do this trip for real... from the flight deck :-) My (far too cleveer!) teenage son flies this, and thinks the issue is where the aircraft switches from a subsonic to supersonic flight model, where pitching for the climb drops you back to the edge of the subsonic model then it pitches back down. He's found he gets a smoother climb accelerating to M1.1 before entering the climb.

Great Flight! I did mine Concorde AF002 flight today from LFPG to KJFK in the Colimata V3. In the past i ve got many problems especially in the acceleration phase. I have solve it to use manual vertical speed to climb up to 60000ft. It seems also unrealistic that the Colimata climb very fast to 60000ft almost at the beginning. I measured the correct flight phase times with the FSLabs Concorde to try to match it in XP12 with the Colimata to make it from the flying point realistic as possible. But the Colimata need a little bit more love in the future. I know that Colimata want to make an free update to V3.5 in the near future. Hope it solves a lot of problems.

Ahh yeah, serial number should be on xplane software store and to activate it should pop up when you load in 👍

Hello, thank you for the quick response. Ok, I'll try to formulate the question a little better. This is about a quick and effective switching or changing the views in the cockpit (with the mouse, joystick, keyboard?). With you, the change from the pilot instruments to the detailed view of the AFCS panel back to the center console back to the pilot instruments and quickly to the flight engineer panel to control the fuel flow always looks so fast and effective. I would like to be able to do / learn that too. Hence the question: "how do you do it"? Can you show that in a video? Which plugins (X-Camera?) do you use? @@ralfleo443 Hiya, sorry for taking a while. Yeah, X-Camera is what I normally use but iv got a video on how to set up the normal xplane camera views to do that. I normally use a mouse and sometimes Track IR for the look around 😁

There is no need to DME Update the INS correct i always screwed up my entire flight because of that. (Phillp's CIVA Payware INS required you to do that)

I'm late to the concorde party but you have explained everything perfectly my man thanks. Great information about the INS too. I did not realise the onboard INS would suffice for version 2. I got the Philips INS and it destroyed my concorde and xplane 11. Major frame drops all over. Was lost till I found your video. 👍

X-Hangar makes good flying aircraft models for X-Plane that are both cost (easy on your wallet) and gpu efficient. Although there are not a lot of the 'bells & whistles' included that you might have come to expect if you generally buy other publishers more expensive offerings, each will generally have a procedures checklist text file in their documents folder. Both the X-Hangar DHC-4 Caribou and new DHC-5 Buffalo have checklist text files that have the normal flight operations procedures (but not emergency procedures).

that can be because you have missed somthing previously, but may be a simple error sometimes - maybe try to reload the sim?

Can't get authrottle, autopilot, or flight directors to work. Followed this vid step by step and been through the manual about a dozen times now and cant find the issue. The autothrottle light just blinks, but the autopilot light does stay solid when i flip it on, just doesn't actually have any control inputs
