It’s a great game system. Lots of fun with friends and a great way to socialise with your friends. I love how it’s so much like the video game in so many ways. The characters, style and feeling of the game perfectly captures the video game. Sounds like you are set for a great time. Did you enjoy painting the models from this set?

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment Carlos. I’m very happy to hear that the video was able to help you paint your balrog and I’m very happy to know that you like the final result. Those big models can be daunting and it’s always such a great reward to finish them. The balrog has been one of my all time favourite models to paint. The details and the character are just right. I found it fun to try and think of a different way to bring it to life and feel like the style is suitable for painters of all levels to follow. Thank you again for dropping by, watching and commenting too. It really helps my little channel grow and it also makes me feel good to know that I’ve been able to help others with their painting as well. Take care my friend and I hope I can make other videos that you will enjoy just as much in the future.

The models are great aren’t they. I had to use a different colour tone on them and make them my own and the army Pinter turquoise/blue just seemed to call out to me. Thanks for dropping by bud.

This guide was helpful as always, when I finally made myself sit down and start painting the dogs--though I was getting burned out by this point, so I drybrushed them a lot more than I would've, had I not been batch-painting all of them! And also, I've found that a good substitute for that blood effect is actually really well-made by mixing just a *drop* of Mephiston Red into a little Agrax Earthshade, of all things; not really necessary for most, I'm sure, but it's certainly served me well in a pinch!

Hi Bryan thanks for the great comment. You’ve added some awesome things onto this video. I really love the idea of the mixed mephiston red and agrax to create gore, this is indeed a valuable tip. Also dry brushing is a very versatile and useful style for things like this as the grittiness of the style will add more depth to the fur and grime on the dogs. Thanks so much for watching as always my friend and thank you for adding so much more info the videos as well. What’s left for you to paint in the resident evil world now?

@@Bread0fHeaven Why, all I've left now are the Core Box bosses, the Evolved Lickers, and the standard Zombies from the Core and B-Files! Not to say I'm not in haste to compound that 'problem,' by getting that awesome Survival Horror box--I'd be remiss to not want Marvin or Brad!--but hey, one thing at a time, right?

Well, while my own Tofu didn't come out quite so rich as yours seems to, with Hunk and Tofu completed, that leaves me without heroes to paint! I'm thinking of tackling the Tyrant next, but this time I'll likely be better off: being inspired by playing the games is one thing, but trying to paint Hunk after *finally* beating the Remake's Fourth Survivor? All a mess of quaking hands, that!
@Bread0fHeaven
@Bread0fHeaven 2 ай бұрын
Oh wow! You've already managed to paint all of the survivors, that's a great achievement Bryan. The Tyrant is indeed a beast in the game and the board game and with is very daunting at first. I'm sure you will do a fantastic job though my friend. Good luck and I really hope that you enjoy the journey of painting it.

At long last, Kendo is done! I deviated from the guide a touch by giving him a faint five o' clock shadow and such, but the best-looking part I added to this was some shattered glass cut from some plastic packaging, in reference to his original, well, demise. I can't wait to get around to hunting down the Survival Horror box, so I can keep up the momentum!
@Bread0fHeaven

That’s a brilliant homage to his original scene in the shop where the zombies bust through the window. I love that you’ve added that extra depth to the character and brought it to life in completely your own way. Well done on completing the starter characters. They look amazing when all done together and make the game so much more immersive to play too. Once again I thank you so much for watching and of course commenting, it really means a lot. Take care my friend.

Well, now that I've managed to finish off Ada, the only survivor from the Core Box I've got left is ol' Kendo. As per usual, this guide was immensely helpful--though I *did* add just a touch of blue to the red for her dress, so it could inch a little closer to the magenta from some of the old renders from the nineties, which turned out great!
@Bread0fHeaven
@Bread0fHeaven 2 ай бұрын
Hey Bryan adding that small touch of blue sounds like a fantastic idea! I bet it did add that extra depth to the colour and tone of the dress. Sounds like you had fun painting Ada. You’re almost there now, just that final one to complete the starting four characters. I’m so happy these videos have been a help to you and I love hearing about the progress you’re making through the box. Hello Dan, How do these Vaultz minis look next to the original resident evil minis? Are they about the same size 32mm?
@Bread0fHeaven
@Bread0fHeaven 3 ай бұрын
That’s a great question. They are slightly larger if you print them straight from the link. But if they were reduced by about 5% I think they’d be pretty much the same scale. There’s not a lot of difference in them but that little bit extra can make a little bit of a difference.

Can't say as I've ever played Dino Crisis--much to my chagrin--but I think your replication of the scheme is absolutely top-notch as always, Dan! (And now here's to wondering what size you could print her at to act as an 'alternate costume' for RE3BG's Jill!)

You missed a really treat with Dino crisis. Such a great game and very much made in the same style as the old original resident evil games. You have the right idea though as this could be used as a great alternate outfit for Jill in the resident evil game. I love that idea and think it fits so well with the old style of games back then that would have these little easter eggs in them. Thanks so much for dropping by and watching mate I really appreciate your time.

Thanks you! The easiest way to imagine Dino Crisis is that it was a cross over between classic resident evil playstyle and Jurassic park. It had the action and puzzles similar to resident evil 2. I hope they make a remake so that people who missed it the first time around get to experience it. Thanks again for watching mate.

I would also love to see a remake or remaster of the series and I really think with today’s tech they could make an amazing atmosphere.
