I’ve bought the Avery Sticker Paper, 8.5" x 11", White, 15 Sheets (3383) and the Koala Printable Vinyl Sticker Paper for Inkjet Printer - 100 Sheets Sticker Printer Paper Matte White, Waterproof Sticker Paper 8.5x11 Inch, Work with Cutting Machine and between the both I prefer the Koala. I haven’t ventured out to other brands but the Koala works wonderful for my stickers it has a slick matte texture and when using highlighter or ink pens it doesn’t bleed or smears. The Avery sticker is the same way but you definitely feel that it’s more of a paper it’s not matte but it works for certain things you just want to print and put on your journal.

I love sketchbook tours and seeing other peoples creative outlet :D I think the comic idea is pretty cute. you could make them like co-workers that are newly assigned to a job and life together in a house or apartment issued to them by the government. Like how in Chainsawman Denji and Power move in with Aki (tbf that is a bit different because he was forced to let them life in his flat 😆 Or if they are like collage/university age, it could be similar to the x-men school and they just life on or near campus 😃

i plan to use oracal laminate film, so ink coming off won't be a concern for me. my question is, after washing, which one felt like it wasn't physically affected by water? (no edges coming up or water seeping in etc). the only water proof sticker i've used so far is cricut's sticker paper for use on water bottles, it comes with a laminate film. only issue there, it's expensive, and even still, it sometimes felt like it would try to peel up too easily on the edges, so I definitely ain't using that.

Great review among every videos!! You had a lot of vibrant colors and designs to help me choose the exact brand I was looking for! I think the only con for the koala one is the "waterproof" test, I'll for sure try to look for more research on that on my own time, besides the point! Great video, you helped me the most by far!

this is late, but wanted to shared that I watched this video months ago and it was ultra helpful for me, as I was looking to swap my matte sticker paper brand. Thanks for posting this experiment you saved many of us a bunch of labor and materials cost!

What I've found (regarding thickness) - is that you can't compare whether something is 'thicker' or 'thinner' while it's attached to the backing. The backings are drastically different amongst brands. eg: The Joyeza vinyl stickers 'feel' thinner' compared to others but when you take the backing paper off and just compare it sticker to sticker, the sticker itself isn't thinner.

I have the same Joyeza and Koala papers and recently tested the Joyeza myself as I am new to sticker making and wanted to know. I found the Joyeza stickers tore easily if removed from a plastic water bottle. I ran them on the bottle under hot water for at least 30 seconds, then patted them dry. Looked fine. I then rubbed them with a paper towel and most of the colors held up fairly well but with harder rubbing, I did have some blue color removal. I have a Canon TR4700 printer. I sprayed the stickers I still had on the sheet with Krylon's UV-Resistant Clear Acrylic spray and did the same test again. No color removal at all. I'll probably run the bottle with those stickers through the dishwasher later to see what happens. I normally hand-wash my bottles, but now I'm curious.

I just started making stickers but can’t afford to try every brand out there, so I’ve been wanting to narrow it down and Koala was on my list. Have you tried the Koala glossy vinyl? If so, do you like it as much as the matte?
