Can you please let me know what cm you keep the rubber?
@HowtoMan20 күн бұрын
Hi @pili3205 - The best way to measure it is just first fir the backbone piece of the rook rack, measure the distance along the channel where the rubber sits in, and then just add an inch or so extra which they hides under the end of the backbone. This way if the piece you cut looks a bit rough, you can cut a bit more off with the inch extra that is hidden under the backbone. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching.

@Mr617583Ай бұрын
The proper torque spec maybe 133 ft lbs plus 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees. The fwd cars are 90, the all wheel drive cars are 180. Check with your local dealer with your exact model to be sure.
@Mr617583Ай бұрын
Your supposed to torque the axle bolt to 133 ft lbs with wheel off, then the final 180 degrees with wheel on and car off the jack, stand or lift.

@@HowtoMan Still a great car regardless. When I bought my 22 model 3, they had just started fitting matrix led headlamps. Then few months after delivery they changed from intel processor… then they removed uss, changed the cameras. Small upgrades like those. So I’m sure they’re going to remedy the steering wheel button signal issue a lot of people have been complaining about, even though seems minor & or, may have aftermarket potential.

Hello mate what screwdriver did you use to remove the two screws im stuck at that point?
@SelfElevate-fh6xh3 ай бұрын
Hi Salvadoppel - The screws are all just small torx screws. I would recommend you get yourself a screwdriver drill bit set, and use a slow/controlled drill. You can see from the video that the crappy little screwdriver that I used took too long to unscrew the screws. It would have been a lot faster just using a torx drill bit on a drill. Hope you learn from my mistakes. Thanks for watching, and please remember to subscribe.

Nice car but not sure I could live without the complete absence of buttons for frequently used functions such as for H&V and the lack of a head up display (or driver’s binnacle). I can understand the sense in seeking to minimise production costs but IMHO Volvo and Tesla have taken minimisation too far.

@@HowtoMan thanks , I test drove the ex30 yesterday. Wasn’t as impressed as with the model 3. It did drive nicely and felt a nice build quality. But a few niggles I didn’t like, infotainment wasn’t as impressive, one foot driving not as strong , 180 camera is more 160 Camera , which I need for my drive and park assist was bad. But I like the size and styling better than the model 3. Trying an MG4 tomorrow . But not convinced on that one.

@HowtoMan4 ай бұрын
There was no need to pull the headliner down fortunately. Everything seems to be good at this point with the job. I think I would prefer to bolt the support onto the roof rather than pop rivet it, but if you bolted it you would definitely need to drop the headliner, or at least pull the edges down to get the access.
