Blackpool council have made it harder to trade, I remember in the 90s there was tv advertising promoting Blackpool and what it had to offer, that does not happen anymore. Me and my friends were shocked at how much the sandcastle were charging for entry, lots of attractions were very expensive, this means people will just come for the day and not stay, Blackpool council make parking expensive and they can waste money on things like the tram extension the cost for going on the tram is now £3.50 Blackpool council could for a start allow free parking on the street until 10am instead of 8am for a start.

Love the crack between you two, always makes me laugh! Always makes me want a pint and fish and chips too. I'll definitely have a cold pint the neet given it's bank holiday. Cheers!

Looks like a canny bit of bait daft lad! Beer garden looks like a nice spot. Wonder if it is haunted. Marsden Grotto is supposed to be haunted too. Forgot to mention it in my comment.

Been ages since I've been in there. Looks gorgeous outside. Can't think of anything better than to be sat out there with a few pints and that view. The food didn't look very good though. Yeah, your chips didn't even look cooked. All that green stuff looked terrible. I'd have sent it back. Nice spot though!

Ah yes, Ryhope, another one of my old haunts. I used to work at a kitchen factory just behind the green. What a perfect day you had to go for run, a walk along the beach and a delicious box of sausge and chips. I really need to get back to the North East. Wish to god I didn't sell my house in Seaham. What a stupid lad!

Such a shame all those nice, solid houses have gone to wreck and ruin. I see houses around there up for auction all the time but point on bidding on any along those streets. The train station is nice, very clean and well maintained. The next stop down the line is Seaham. Such a lovely, peaceful area.

I used to live in Dawdon along the other end. I bought the house in 2005 for £24k and sold it the same year for £54k. Wish I didn't sell it as Seaham is looking nice with plenty to do. All those zeros got the better of me at the time! Seaham is still my parents favourite place to go for coffee, shopping and to enjoy the sea air. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for another hoose! Enjoying your vids chaps! Keep them coming!

That derelict pub you're looking at at the bottom of Park Road next door to Barclays was called Paradise Alley back in the day.... Fifth Avenue is located on Lucan Street further round , off york rd .... And the reason Cornwall Street and Harrow Street and all of them side streets are boarded up is because that is the rough area of the town since the council came out with the three strikes and you don't live in your council house no more so private landlords put them in there and they have destroyed the place 30 years ago that area was the place to be and owton manor Hartlepools biggest council house estate was a no go area but now it's the other way around it is now a good area because all the riff raff have moved out ,being kicked (evicted) out by the new Councils law like Everett Street used to be a good street but no longer because the house prices were cheap enough for landlords to buy and put benefit people in because they're guaranteed their rent where as people working might have a bad week so they will not pay the rent put people on benefits get it automatically paid direct to the landlord🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I lived on Jarvis Road for 7 year in one of the new houses. Loved the house & the neighbours were some of the best I’ve ever had, but it was the antisocial behaviour that drove me out in the end . There were always kids climbing my fences & throwing stones at my kitchen window & you couldn’t leave anything outside (not even a door wreath at Christmas) because it would almost certainly get lifted. The house next door was privately rented & was empty for long periods of time (Unsurprisingly nobody ever seemed to stay there for long) & people used to lurk in the back garden on a night - It just made you feel really uneasy. Such a shame because for the most part it’s a relatively quiet, leafy area & many of the older people who have lived there for many years are canny
