I really hope that they keep all those houses up and just renovate them cos old houses are way better than this new rubbish that they build. They are much better built and designed. In Liverpool some really run down boarded up streets has the houses renovated and now they look incredible. I hate to see houses like this knocked down cos they represent the heritage of the area. These modern developments completely lack character

So interesting to listen and watch. I love North England East Coast, I visited Horden last year in September. Went to cafe next to the train station, enjoyed traditional Yorkshire pudding and then straight to the beach to look for beach specimens. Love stories about collieries People ar so friendly, well most of them.😊 Good luck! I will visit Durham countu this year!

I saw that 13 Thirteenth Street is for sale. Here us hoping that the area is improved, as for being forced to sell, their is is what is known as CPO (Compulsory Purchase Order) laws that the council can use to buy the properties for regeneration of the area.

Always makes me sad when the video comes to an end lol ... Do love watching you two out and about :D! .. Councils always seem to knock down the more thriving of the streets before the derelict ones .. they did this same thing in Gateshead about 10 years ago and nothing's been built since. My sister was bought out of her house and the property was demolished soon after, now its just a wasteland. ... ... and 8 Squids for fish and chips? holy crap fella, I had some last night (with salad) and it was £21 ... Might be cheaper to drive to Hordon from Hexham for a fish supper lmao ... Hopefully your next videos will be up soon - Take care you two :D

A possible suggestion for your out & about videos is to do a series of videos on the River Wear starting at Burnhope Reservoir & Wearhead then thru a series of videos follow the Wear all the way to Sunderland including all the local communities.

Love the videos! Shame I didn't have a look at these earlier. I've just bought a house on Third Street - definitely the worst house on the street I think! Third time lucky maybe?… been talks of it for years and years now a almost bankrupt council agrees to over £6 million? It baffles me how now is the right time when should have been done years ago when the council had “more” funds? I may be wrong but that’s my impression of it.
