Why couldn’t you separate the zipper tape and just stitch everything up until this point then join together and add zipper pull?

Oh, you definitely could! That would work too. Might make it easier to do it that way also.

I just made one using your specs and it is so cute! I could not add the rivets as my hole maker is too dull to clip through seatbelt strap that I used for the D rings.

Yeah, those rivet holes can be tricky and getting that clear vinyl to stay in place while you do it too.

The print directions for the zipper strip has 5" listed and should be 1/2".

It’s listed at .5” which is the same as 1/2”, so that is correct.

Is the measurements for the zipper pocket in the pattern

All of the measurements for the wristlet are in the pattern. The only thing I gave measurements on or any differences is where I veered from the pattern. Everything else is in the pattern.

It just gives it a little extra support since that is a wear/stress point from carrying the weight of the bag.
