Been in the trade for 30 years and eveey few years i seem to have to go through a new varition of this pointless nonsense. Its an absolute minefeild of information which is hard to get your gead around as the websites of citb and cscs are not fot for purpose. Lads just wanna go to work it should be made easy and as cheap as possible. Its disgusting.

Well in most cases it is a hazard but because it’s an air-powered tool, there’s no electricity involved in a way that might be a hazard to the user. Or so I can surmise

You are taking a mock exam using a KZbin video but the questions are too fast, what should you do? A) Complain in the comments section B) Pause the video on each question or adjust the speed of the video to a more appropriate pace C) Inform your supervisor that the exam is broken D) Stop work immediately and go home

Citb for awareness is 25/30. Citb.for environment is 45/50. Loads of confusion over this, even I didnt know until now.

I did the CITB test & passed. 49/50 they now want me to pay £156 for an online Health, Safety & Awareness course, and £65 for a green card. Will the questions on the HSA be similar to CITB??

@@dannyg8985 I have. I had to do another course (10 modules) online, then do an exam with a computer running Windows 10 a webcam & microphone & speaker. I passed, most of the questions are very similar to what we've done already. I'm just waiting for my certificate so I can send off for my card.

Ive passed the CITB health, safety, and environment test. Did an Online course for £99 with CITB e-courses in health and safety awareness and have my test booked for Wednesday. I called and they said that the combination of these two is enough for me to apply for a green laborers CSCS card. I think the CSCS card is only like £28.

The cscs card is £36. That is through cscs website. A lot of companies are charging more to "help" you out but that's not always the case. I paid £22.50 for my citb test, and now £130 plus vat for my HSA level 1.shop around mate.

@@AK-tj6gd tools and bricks can fall between the the boards and the wall, too. When I was an apprentice, I had to tidy up around a garage, a bricky was topping off a gable end while I was underneath, a 10nm block slipped out of his hand and straight through the gap, the thud 2ft from me gave me a good jump, and a lesson 🤣😭
