The bootleg thing is interesting, many reports pointed out that most of those who buy the bootleg concerts (sometimes just for one song ) are genuine fans who already buy the band’s material . I would have been at the end period of bootlegs and bought a few but always the live gigs and because of the addition of cover or a rare live song . Always bought their albums though, it was more for collection purposes .

I seriously doubt that bootlegging hurts the musicians financially. They feel artistically slighted, I'm sure - the sound quality ranges from pretty good to absolutely awful - but I'm sure that those who buy bootlegs are the ones that have all of the legit releases, yours truly included. So there is nothing else to buy from the artist, plus I/they know that it wasn't produced using proper industry methodology/techniques so we know how to listen through rough sound. I/they just wanted the legendary Listen To This Eddie set from LA 1977. Both the performance (especially Bonham) and the sound quality (for a 1970's audience recording) are both A+. I have a few from Zeppelin and a few from Elton. Ever heard anything from his tours with just him and the piano? Incredible. We are all well aware of his fabulous voice and fantastic songwriting, but with out a backing band he simply plays more piano - A LOT MORE PIANO! Then one remembers "oh yeah, he attended The Royal Academy of Music."

It's always amusing when they refer to "THE Led Zeppelin". Very polite, very British.

Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video on Peter Grant 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀

Peter Grant was a great manager… He changed the whole game in favor of the artists. But he did have a shortcoming not realizing they should’ve been taping every show professionally- hindsight is 2020.

You're still an assho*le for not properly identifying the PRIMARY subject of this BBC film. It's a bootleg documentary. You're doing a disservice to those who'd be interested in finding an actual bootleg documentary by omitting what the piece was crewated for in the first place. The fact that Peter Grant is in it is a distant second in cultural importance.... jackmunch.

He's exactly my type. I mean I am smitten with dark-haired men from the UK.✨ The Silent Generation/Boomers/ Gen-Xers carried music for yesterday, today, nd the future. No doubt about it!I owe them for stabilizing me and keeping me happy. Which is why I haven't bothered with the radio in over 15yrs. Lol. I'll just youtube the songs I want to listen to from back in the day. Tracy ❤❤
