I have a small air leak on my passenger side window. Whistles a but when it's super cold out. If adjusting the windows doesn't work, maybe take it to the dealer and see if there's a defect? I do know of someone on the forums who shoved chunks of cardboard someplace to help. Hmmm

@@NorthwestBronco Do you have an idea why there’s half an inch of unfilled space between the side edge of the window and the fiber next to it? (pic in Reddit). I feel like if it was filled up with something that would help a lot with wind noise.

The bombing range is actually across the ridge back towards Bend. It's in the flat to the north just before you start up Horse Ridge. There used to be old vehicles and such out there that the pilots would shoot at and bomb. There's nothing left above ground to see. If you walk through the sage brush you can still find .50 cal machine gun links. That whole area was used for military training maneuvers during WWII for the soldiers stationed at Camp Abbott (now Sunriver) and aircraft from Camp Abbott and Madras. I never heard of the castle being part of the bombing range.

@@NorthwestBronco If you continue down the road towards the north from where the castle is, stay to the left. there will be a wire fence / gate and signs stating that you are entering / leaving the OHV area. Drive off into that flat and you'll be right in the middle of the range. There's also some cool military history up SE of Madras. Earthen Berms set up in a tri-angle formation. It was used to train B17 waste gunners how to lead their targets. Lots to see in the desert if you'll only open your eyes.

I watched your earlier videos on these tires and purchased a set of 315s for my 21 JLUR diesel Jeep about 10k ago because I liked the tread pattern, sidewall protection, and the D load size. Immediate improvement over my stock KO2s which had about 45k on them. Yes the low hum was slightly louder than the worn KO2s but never a problem and I don’t notice it that much any more. I’ve made several long exploring trips with these and like you, I plan to purchase these again. Been all through rocky trails in eastern sierras (CA/NV) and AZ, snowy and muddy trails in ID/UT/WY, and normal dusty trails all in between. Even the wet syrupy mud in WY and they performed very well. When the roads were wet from rain here in Sacramento, the KO2s always slipped slightly on turns, even with low miles. These, never. I too wish they would make a true 35 in 11.5 width. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

If you have ever been out plinking cans off fence posts you will quickly invent the can wired to the fence wire target. Hit it and the can whoops around and settles back down for the next shot. If it is your fence you will use a longer wire on the can so as to not snip the fence wire. This practice has died out as modern ranch kids are now playing video games!

@@NorthwestBronco First off I am a SE Oregon fan and desert rat wanna-be. I have a GFC camper on a 2wd pickup so I go into range roads a ways and camp. I don't do or like overlanding as you can see so much more on foot. Wear snake protection! I live on the coast of Washington and my 2x gets 26mpg where if I had 4x with a bunch of junk slung on it I might get 16mpg. I'm cheap! I wear a survival pack and take a compass reading when leaving a road and often hike out five miles, do a 180 and walk back. No cell phone and no InReach. I never take chances out there. That way you see undisturbed country and pieces of the puzzle start falling together. I was a trained newspaper reporter and you develop a cop-like sense of 'why are you seeing this and why did it happen.' When you see enough pieces of the puzzle a picture begins to emerge. That is why I see the land on foot. To understand it, not just drive through. I also look at desert stuff on the tube. I was an original "Coyote Pup" and have seen everything Casey has done. I think he is now public works director at Prineville and probably no longer has the time to produce videos. He was great; an Elon-like figure who would be outstanding at anything. He is probably getting the whole city squared away by now! You have a cool channel. Thank you for that.
