Where is Richard now? I thought this version was more like what originally came from his heart. It is a cry for mercy in ancient Latin and a part of the prayer in the ancient liturgy.

A few months ago I came across a video of Richard performing this song with Mr. Mister. I don’t recall what prompted me to do a KZbin search, but omigod, this music and Richard’s voice, had such a profound effect on me.
