It's truly remarkable that so many can be comforted with music, and the difference it can make it our lives. I grew up singing at my church. When my stepfather passed in my senior year of high school , I had the privilege of singing this song at his funeral ❤ I somehow forgot how much I love music, and the impact it can have on our hearts. Sending love to all of those who are not here on earth but forever in my heart.

When I was growing up in the 50s - 60s, the Catholic Mass was in Latin & we sang this at the end of every mass. Back then all Catholic parishioners in our little town were quite versed & familiar with Latin prayers & Gregorian chants.

I went on a retreat in 1990 and it was an extraordinary experience but what made it incredible was the last morning we were there we were hustled out onto the front Portico right at sunrise carrying bouquets of flowers and singing Salve Regina. It was one of the most incredible expressions of love I've ever seen. This many years later (2024)I still cry thinking back.
