I had it in semi clay like soil. It worked but in the humid summer months the soil was saturated. I have since dug it up and covered the area with a concrete patio so no more need for this. Thanks for watching.

What you are calling the rocker is actually the sear. What you are calling the sear is actually the disconnector. The detent spring is bent so it does not pop out when you remove the grip safety. You also initially had the sear up side down.

I have this exact Color Grand Cherokee. Mines a 2000 with 281k miles and still runs great. Zero warning lights on the dash. It’s a great vehicle and the 4.0 is a very reliable engine.

Great video! I have both the Portfolio and a Malibu. I think my Portfolio is older. I’m having the same problem but with the Malibu. Lights with not shut off and digital display does not come on. KZbin suggestions indicate the battery but maybe it is the photo light detector. What is the model number you purchased from Lowe’s? Thanks!

Just so everyone is aware: the new gen of this camera has redesigned internals. The lights arent screwed into the housing anymore they have special mounts that connect them to the housing. Additionally the transformer is no longer small and screw mounted in. It takes up a large amount of space in the housing and the connections are moulded into place with a durable rubber material. Essentially this video wont work for them. They have made it very difficult to replace the lights individually. Ring probably realized that someone who knows how to use a screwdriver and a couple wire nuts could fix it themselves. Cant have that.

Why fill the container with rock? Wouldn’t you have a greater void by leaving the box empty and surrounding it with rock? Also, line the opening with geo-textile fabric so dirt doesn’t infiltrate the surrounding rock.

You can use the same filter cleaner solution that is for the pool filter.

I just purchased a new cell and put it in. Said it was chorinating however I did not see any bubbles in the cell window. Couple of weeks go by and now I am getting this same message....Check Cell....Waiting. Ever heard of a cell being bad right out of the box?

I was about to follow your idea but you never followed up it's been a year. Is it still up did it pull out of the dirt what happened, because I want to put a cantilever umbrella up now if I can avoid putting it in a planter and sitting it on top I will do it this way

I'm troubleshooting one of these Portfolio transformers for a neighbor and was wondering if the LED display that indicates o, A, 1, 2, 3, etc is supposed to be lit all the time? Or does it go dark after a few minutes? For example, I press the Up or Down arrows to cycle through the modes, choose one, and then after a few minutes the display is completely dark, until I press again.

And if you looked at the transformer say 2 hours later, that red LED would still be on showing the mode, even without touching the up/down arrow--it stays on steadily. (I'm wondering because the LED on the one I'm working with goes dark a few minutes after I set it.Which, if wrong means I just buy a new transformer!)

Thanks, would it be okay to use a low powered pressure washer on the filter? Maybe 1800 psi, with a wide nozzle? Or do you think that could damage the filter?

It’s a paper or some type of thin synthetic filter. Maybe a low pressure with wide nozzle would do the trick better. It gets a bit difficult cleaning out between the creases.

Thanks for watching! The only major problem I had with the Titan was Nissan service department. The parking sensors would go off at random and the Nissan techs just turned them off and said it was fixed. After multiple times like this I told them I was dumping the brand!!

Look for signs of the metal corroding, wearing away or even completely missing. Bad PH can cause the metal fins to corrode and the unit will be useless after that.

Yes it throws an error if the unit has corroded vanes….I cant recall the exact error but its a “cell” error.
