Why? What's wrong with them? People would never be able to watch them in there entirety without turning off, so it's either that or removing them completely

An old friend of mine is Russell Plummer the travel journalist (Ships Monthly, Paddle Wheels, Cruise Ferry Info Guide, etc) and I've spent many night aboard European Ferries with him. So I've managed to pick up some bits along the years. I do enjoy your site. Keep up the good work. BTW, do you manage to get any complimentary ferry travel? I ask that because most of the operators would, if they know you have this channel, possible offer you some freebies....

Great sights of the Rock, with the ongoing earthquakes near Santorini and most of Gibraltar being low level it did make me think what the impact would be on the place if there were to be a Med sea tsunami!

Yes the camera has already been replaced for future trips with a DJI, which my next 2 videos not yet released, have already been filmed with. Made a big difference

I was quite surprised by the unexpected ship/date/route change. Did they offer you free transportation from Caen to Cherbourg? Otherwise they seem to have failed to fulfill their obligation to transport you from Poole to Cherbourg.

Actually this is a good point that did not occur to me. Fortunately in my circumstance my final destination of the trip was Caen anyway, with an enroute afternoon in Cherbourg, which I missed out seeing. But yes you are right, and nothing was offered that I recall.

Thanks! Yes that's true - they told me it was the last cabin available on the ship, so I didn't really have any choice but to buy it, as the thought of being in that lounge overnight was not pleasant haha. Given the lack of people on the ship though I must admit its surprising they were all full.

When you come out of the Arrivals follow the signs to the Bus / Coach station. And then the area the Swiss Tours departs is the place shown in my video near those large vents. I hope that helps!

I agree. It will be interesting to see how the replacement ship (named St Malo) compares. Looking at the website, the cabins look nice but the restaurants have a tough act to follow. Hoping to try it for my return to the UK in March.
