Hey man got a 2013 2.0 ecoboost fusion titanium. I got this code and replaced the low fuel pressure sensor. But I also got the p008a 00 68 code low pressure fuel system. The shop told me I might need a low pressure fuel pump also. Would a bad low pressure sensor cause the other code also or could I also need a low pressure fuel pump?

The jeep 2.4 has problem with piston ring coking. The PCV system is allowing a lot of oil vapors into the intake. The rings are very thin and the oil being burned from the PCV system is being burned in the cylinder making the gummed up and they can't exspaned. This is the reason for low compression. I have a video for the fix. Back 9 channel name.

Worst engineering ever for a motor. This engine relies on two diamond faced washers to keep the timing chain pulls from moving on the crank shaft. What was wrong with keyways to hold everything in time. Think about this. The crank gear is held in place and in rotation by 2 small diamond faced washers and the pressure of the harmonic balancer being squeezed by the crank shaft bolt. Most engines have timing marks. These engineers were too lazy and wanted to show off, you have to buy a special tool set to do the job of timing chain anything. Replacing, resetting, whatever. Can’t do it with out the 200 dollar tool set. Big piece of crap, that is what this motor is. I can prove it, ford sold it to Land Rover!

How the heck did you get this pump out with out removing the engine? It's a booger!!

It’s on top of the motor. Just remove the cowl. Tons of room.

I just started dealing with this issue with my 2017 Murano. All of a sudden we started getting a dank smell in the car. I did not realize the carpets were soaked front and back because I have rubber mats on them. I thought it was caused by the air conditioner discharge tubing being blocked. I cleared that. Now I am seeing that when it rains the car is getting soaked inside. I am trying to narrow it down now. Seems to be coming from the left side. This seems to be an issue with the design of the Murano from all of the message boards I am seeing having the same issue. Frustrating to say the least!

I'm a year late...I heard Brian Ritchie say the fuel pump fuse/fuses were in the fuse box . which #'s would that be to disconnect power from pump? Been looking for a while a coming up short.

Old video but still relevant. These sensors are going bad left and right, Ford is aware of this, they used a bad part, and should replace free this is a very important sensor, it can cause serious damage in the event it goes bad, most analyzers will give you that very same fault, out of 100K of these sensors what are the chance of 50% of them giving out the same code for them. This is a clear indication that the sensor is defective, I took my mustang to the dealer to get it checked out, same fault I got on my analyzer, they quoted me 500 bucks to replace it, yeah a 10 minute job and a 50 bucks sensor and they wanted 500 and I told them where the problem was! imagine that, Ford needs to stand behind their products specially because the workmanship is weak and their cars are overpriced, for what you get! that low quality defective sensor can destroy your engine, it is used on a lot of cars now a days, but ford choose the wrong part manufacturer and we the consumers are paying for it, again! Are you getting a check engine light on your vehicle? You better get an analyzer a cheap on will do, just to make sure you don't have a code for the same sensor, on my mustang the check engine light never came on! There are no issues at all with the engine, runs great, but don't trust that system, most people just go ahead and change it to get it over with at least for a while! Better than having to buy an engine later.

I have the same problem with the rear sun roof drains on my 2018 Murano SL. The first time debris was able to be blown out, 1 year later I took back to the dealer and they said the drain tubes need to be replaced along with the sunroof glass with seals for $2,300. Ugh.... If I just do the drains and it still leaks I'd have to pay for additional labor to go back and do the sunroof glass. Unfortunately I have to do both so I don't have to deal with getting rain water on the floor behind my driver's seat. I see a lot of people have the same problem but no Nissan Service Bulletins to address the issue. Any advice?

@@Joni2u99 Hi, I replied to you, I hope you're able to fix yourself, clearing out the rear tubes. That blockage and the stagnate water really smelled bad, it was disgusting. I have pictures of where the rear, passenger side, drains are located, not sure how to publicly post them. When I traced the tubing connecting to the drain on the sunroof, it was loose.

@@michaelflores9778 Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I couldn't clear the tubes, so I had to take it to the nissan Dealership for repair. I did open a case with Nissan Consumer Affairs since this seems to be a common problem.

So your pin was the wrong length, so what pin did you buy that was the right length? You show the CTA 1026L that you purchased for the cams, but what is the correct pin for the crankshaft? Is it 303-748 or is it 303-507 or something else?

Did it work?
@michaelflores97785 ай бұрын
@@Joni2u99 yes it did. During this second round, I removed the factory plugs so the water can freely flow. The rear tube, passenger side was also plugged. Causing water to leak into, onto the back seats, down the panels. The rear exit plug is on the side fender; pull off the interior panel & you'll see a similar plug. The top entry tube, you'll have to pull down the upper lining, not much, you'll see tube.

Fast Forward videos might be great for TIKTOK, as an older tech who doesn't get into it, but here for YT is not the norm. Thank you for the close-up video. I would have liked to have seen the resistance measurement of the bad vs used seat sensor, thanks for this repair video, cheers.

Nice information and location of the harness. You put the year on your whiteboard so you must know it's important but not in the title of this video. You did not show the actual removal of the intake and related components and this video is not about performing an actual repair. Thanks for putting the word out that rodent damage is real and when we live in an area where this is common, we as vehicle owners need to learn a few ways to try to prevent this issue. BAIT and TRAP, chocolate works nicely, and knowing that the rodent likes this warm hiding place so trapping near the vehicle parking area is best, even under the hood is good. cheers.

I have recently found your channel and will be following, I am an L1 Master Tech, semi-retired with many years of experience, any feedback I give is wholeheartedly constructive criticism and I cannot give feedback for this first video as it is not really a specific repair job and the repair was not actually the main subject of the video. What I will ask for many viewers is to label the title for the specific vehicle at hand, you mentioned a red F150 with no year or engine size, yes, many times there is a range of years that are the same engine and all parts but that is up to us to know after giving the specific vehicle in the video. Maybe like me, there is a handful of viewers who catalog videos and take notes for our huge library of repair information in which I like to see Ford F150 year engine primary codes problem repair as I have some computer programming to reorder this info if it is not in this exact order for the first few bits of info, make model year. I will be learning what level of videos you make, I enjoy technical diagnostics the best and I avoid pure DIY overall but of course, you cannot fill your playlist with pure diagnostic videos, no worries mate. Once I see several diag type of video titles, I will binge-watch for a day, in this case, it appears you have 5 of your last 6 fairly named videos from the time I found your channel up to today, 5 is my minimum to start watching if that is weekly or every couple of months. I see since the end of May you are not too busy with videos but I liked what I first saw with a quick view once YT brought you to my attention. It seems on average your videos are short while the going trend is 20 minutes to be able to teach what you can about each job so not sure as of today what your purpose is yet? Thank you for this video and will let you know what I think of the others to come, since you don't have a lot of videos I will be watching 100% and giving some feedback for a few of the diag types, cheers.
